As a Buddhist i believe that Buddha is the enlightenment one from a common man like us. But if Hindus thinks that Buddha is a incarnation of Vishnu dev then i have no problem. Debating is useless.

It does not really matter who was Buddha whether He was God or Man! What really matter is He is the Greatest preacher of peace. One does not has to by birth Buddhist to follow Buddha, does not need to change ones religion. Just follow Buddha's teaching if u like it or do not follow if u do not like it. If u follow Buddha's teaching u will be respected in this life and in after life if there is one really exists. Who Knows!
The thing is lord buddha could be reincarnation of vishnu idk i haven't read scriptures but according to what I've understood is Siddharth Gautam or Gautam buddha was a common human who gained enlightenment and gained title "Buddha" lord buddha actually realized how this world works, what is life and many more while meditating everyone can be buddha theres no such things as reincarnation if you meditate long enough with right methods you can gain complete control over your mind and thought and finally gain enlightenment and get title "buddha"

You do know, these are added accounts by Tibet monks and Lamas, not the actual Indian ones. After Gautama died, it was brahmins only who were his followers, started propagating with added accounts. Only Tripitak can be considered as real, authentic accounts of Buddha, but sadly written many centuries after his demise, rest accounts are interpolations. The delusion is so gr8 that: A Thai professor has written a paper with more than 200 references, claiming Gautama was a Thai national. Loved this video but I need to point out some mistakes - 1) you don't need to be a sanyasi to attain enlightenment according to Buddha. Buddha admitted that he could have attained Nirvana without being a sanyasi and he became a Sanyasi because he thought it was requirement. In fact there were many lay people during Buddha's time that attained Nirvana. He ADMITTED he was wrong. 2) But he realized that for Buddhism to survive for a long time there has to be monks/Sangas. This is why he continues with the Sanga tradition.
Agree. He was growing in his spiritual journey throughout his life. In Buddhism it is believed that householders are as much a Bodhisattvaa as a monk who renounced everything. They both served a unique purpose in this world.

Before lord parshuram came on earth Kshatriyas were not doing their job properly and were being adharmic and was led by sahastra bahu named kshatriya king. That is the reason why lord Vishnu came on earth as parshuram and destroyed all crooked kshatriyas except newborns and women. And also he was not a full incarnation. It does not necessarily mean peace and all is dharma sometimes one has to be violent to save dharma. Lord parshuram is a perfect example of it. Yes budhha was a saint in ancient India who had his own ideology but that doesn't make him a Vishnu avatar. Sugatha budhha was a Vishnu avatar

Shakyamuni wrote the last Sutra - titled the Lotus Sutra for all of us living in this age. It teaches one how to reach enlightement or your Buddhahood within without having to give up your earthly pleasures/desires. How to be happy despite our challenges and how to make others happy. Doesn't matter what teaching or path you follow, all are trying to guide you in the same direction. Once you "get it" and live by wisdom, courage, compassion...with good thoughts good words and good deeds....you will be the best version of yourself...and connected to your higher self.
The middle way is the crux of the teaching of lotus sutra and complete beleif in ones enlightened state i.e buddhahood and the same is mentioned by the orator in the end on the video..!!!

Problem is at that time it's written as attack on Buddhism. It's mention in the scripture that Vishnu will reincarnate as Buddha to mislead people. And also these scriptures are written much later after death several centuries after Buddha

In Buddhism, no one is saying you to leave everything & start sadhna. That's the whole essence of the Middle Path that you don't get into extremism... It teaches you how to do your sadhna while being on material world.
there are middle path in Hinduism as well and many ways in fact..whats so new? from extreme to simple life style all path shown in Hinduism..and dont say that extremism is not there in Buddhism, there are buddhist monks doing tough meditation as well..

As a theravada Buddhist, The teaching of Lord buddha define how we stop the sansara,,, Which mean rebirth.. According to loard buddha we have infinity rebirth.. Our "thanha"is the basic need for rebirth.. When we zero the 'thanha' we will not be rebirth.. We can escape all the 'dukya'

I born as Hindu. But grasped Buddhism based on my own interest and inspiration. Buddha called him as Thatagatha. That's means he followed foot steps and preached same as previous Buddha's teachings. He mentioned many rebirth about himself (Sakyamuni Buddha) and other Buddhas. So, there is no link between Sakyamuni Buddha and Hinduism. Hindus made up a story that Buddha is Vishnu Avatar. The reason is Hinduism fame get reduced because Buddhism dont believe caste system and everyone treated as same. Another reason there is no function for Brahmin act as middle man to do rituals to connect god with human. Buddha dont believe in rituals. Everyone must be treated same. No one become great based on family backgroud. Only through character, we should judge, whether there are respecful person or not. Buddha said if u work hard u can be whoever u want in this birth and future births. Buddha's teaching called as Dhamma is universal code of conduct to end rebirths sufferings. So, there is no link between Hinduism and Buddhism. Siddharta Gautama (Buddha) against Hinduism concepts and rituals since he was child. Please reveal the truth. Dont hide ultimate wise knowledge of Buddha's teachings.

Hii TRS we have an old rock temple in North India, Himachal. It is an old Ram temple partially broken in a massive earthquake in 1905 but the main structure still survived. In this old monolithic temple there is a Buddha face statue carved on the main shikara Or the vimana of the temple. So at least this shows there is an association between Hinduism and Buddhism Or at least the people who constructed it and the King believed in this. The temple is still there and looked after by ASI and I have pics of the same.

@@su-mu I tried to know more on the subject. And I found Buddha is considered as one of the DashaAvtars of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism. As per ASI the temple was built by King of Kannauj (surprisingly - in a remote hilly jungle of Himachal) but the local legend says something else and dates other structures in the vicinity back to Mahabharata era and even this temple made by Pandvas. As per the story the temple was left incomplete because the identity of Pandvas got disclosed during Agyatvaas and therefore had to run away. The main Ram, Laxman and Sita idols were placed later. There is also an engraving written on rock wall at the entrance of main temple in an ancient Indian language which is still uncoded and not understood by ASI as per my info. Astonishingly and to Highlight this magnificent ancient temple is a monolithic rock cut temple which means entire temple complex with 13-15 vimanas is made of single rock in this case Sandstone.The cluster resembles Sumeru. It also has a beautiful pond in front of her and is part of temple just like ancient South Indian temples.

But I can surely tell you if I am able to identify Lord Shiva, Indra, Kartikeya, Durga, Brahma etc I can surely identify Buddha face. Unless they were making statue of some other deity resembling Buddha in those times.

Buddha is indeed an avatāra of Visņu. But it wasn't Siddhartha Gautama Buddha. There have been many Buddha's before Siddhartha Gautama and will be several more in future. The 9th Avatāra of Visņu is Sugata Buddha. According to Vaiṣṇava Bhagavata Purāṇam, the ninth avatāra was born immediately after the beginning of Kaliyuga in the city of Gaya. We know that Siddhartha Gautama was born atleast 2500 years after the beginning of Kaliyuga in Lumbini, hundreds of kilometre away from Gaya. The Buddha mentioned as avatāra of Visnu is different than Siddhartha Gautama. Due to latter's immense popularity among masses, "some" acharyas who opposed Buddhism appropriated Siddhartha Gautama as avatāra.
I am hindu but have highly respect for Buddha because he is historic icon of Jambudweep not mythological. Any Bhartiya ignoring Buddha means ignoring bhartiya sanskriti. Maximum path/tradition of Bharat derived from Buddhism.

There's very less study about Buddhist tradition from Buddha, In Tipitakka - The Jataka Katha section and many surtas/ suttas have guided civilised people as well, if you see the Buddha gave 5 sila for common people, but tor monks they have 117 rules. There is a jataka tale,Dasaratha Jataka... Narrated by Buddha... In which there is a story of Ram where he goes to Exile with his siblings lakshman and sita. Read from a proper pdf not wikipedia. There is no telling of he went to lanka or sita is his wife. So if we go by the narration that Buddha is an incarnation of vishnu then what he says in the story should be accepted as fact and the entire Ramayana loses its significance. If not then, buddha is nothing to do with vishnu and he never believed on the concept of a creator creating an universe. The Buddha tells a lot of stories of different Devas in different realms. Brahma also being such one god with an expiry date on him. Also if you go by scriptures, there are not 10 avatars, some tell there are 12 avatars or 13 or 25. The 10 avatars being the major one. The problem between Buddhism and Vedic religion started with the time Buddha giving sermons and Kings taking buddhism as an alternative for vedic religion. Vedic religion was filled with rituals and the brahmins held higher post in it and they were the beneficiaries of this rituals. These were the times Beef was the primary delicacy of tye brahmins and you can find sacrifices of cow and descriptions of Veal meat given in detail. So once Buddhism took hold of the masses and it preached vegetarianism, the Brahmins rebranded vedic religion. Plagiarized buddhist teachings into Upanishads. Firstly the man i.e Buddha himself didn't believe in any God incarnation. Cause it's basically one of the ancient "nastik darshana philosophy" i.e. atheist philosophy of india. So no debate over it. Secondly i totally disagree with the guest that Advaita philosophy won over any philosophy. Cause the proponent of the philosophy i.e. "Shankaracharya" is called " प्रच्छन्न बुद्धा" means "disguise Buddha" cause his philosophy was very very similar to the famous Buddhist scholar "Nagarjuna". And also not everyone in Buddha's period was leaving homes to become sanyasis and attain enlightenment. Cause Buddha himself gave many rules like "four noble truths and eight fold path" and many to follow for a common man. So that he can attain enlightenment too. And there are many examples of that in Buddhist literature.

This is factually incorrect. There are 112 paths which lead to the supreme union between human and parambrahma (the ultimate supreme energy/consciousness) in Sanatan dharma. Sri Gautama Buddha rediscovered a path of this union that was not so followed in those times. So quite literally Sri Gautama worked and established himself in the Sanatan Dharma sphere only...He never said Budhhism was a new religion, nor did he ever say that buddhism was not a part of hinduism/sanatan dharma. There are other branches of hinduism/sanatan dharma, namely jainism, sikkhism, buddhism, vedanta, vaishnav, shaiv,smriti, astika, nastika etc. In todays era, in search of self identity in this world, many people want to divide every part of hinduism into a new religion...but when there establishers didn't exclude these methods from hinduism, why do you ? You do know, these are added accounts by Tibet monks and Lamas, not the actual Indian ones.
After Gautama died, it was brahmins only who were his followers, started propagating with added accounts.
Only Tripitak can be considered as real, authentic accounts of Buddha, but sadly written many centuries after his demise, rest accounts are interpolations.

Loved this video but I need to point out some mistakes - 1) you don't need to be a sanyasi to attain enlightenment according to Buddha. Buddha admitted that he could have attained Nirvana without being a sanyasi and he became a Sanyasi because he thought it was requirement. In fact there were many lay people during Buddha's time that attained Nirvana. He ADMITTED he was wrong. 2) But he realized that for Buddhism to survive for a long time there has to be monks/Sangas. This is why he continues with the Sanga tradition.
Agree. He was growing in his spiritual journey throughout his life. In Buddhism it is believed that householders are as much a Bodhisattvaa as a monk who renounced everything. They both served a unique purpose in this world.

Before lord parshuram came on earth Kshatriyas were not doing their job properly and were being adharmic and was led by sahastra bahu named kshatriya king. That is the reason why lord Vishnu came on earth as parshuram and destroyed all crooked kshatriyas except newborns and women. And also he was not a full incarnation. It does not necessarily mean peace and all is dharma sometimes one has to be violent to save dharma. Lord parshuram is a perfect example of it. It teaches one how to reach enlightement or your Buddhahood within without having to give up your earthly pleasures/desires. How to be happy despite our challenges and how to make others happy. Doesn't matter what teaching or path you follow, all are trying to guide you in the same direction. Once you "get it" and live by wisdom, courage, compassion...with good thoughts good words and good deeds....you will be the best version of yourself...and connected to your higher self.

Lots of major temples in India were once associated with Buddha and Buddhism. So we still worship Buddha in the name of different gods.

Which mean rebirth.. According to loard buddha we have infinity rebirth.. Our "thanha"is the basic need for rebirth.. When we zero the 'thanha' we will not be rebirth.. We can escape all the 'dukya'

I born as Hindu. But grasped Buddhism based on my own interest and inspiration. Buddha called him as Thatagatha. That's means he followed foot steps and preached same as previous Buddha's teachings. He mentioned many rebirth about himself (Sakyamuni Buddha) and other Buddhas. So, there is no link between Sakyamuni Buddha and Hinduism. Hindus made up a story that Buddha is Vishnu Avatar. The reason is Hinduism fame get reduced because Buddhism dont believe caste system and everyone treated as same. Another reason there is no function for Brahmin act as middle man to do rituals to connect god with human. Buddha dont believe in rituals. Everyone must be treated same. No one become great based on family backgroud. Only through character, we should judge, whether there are respecful person or not. Buddha said if u work hard u can be whoever u want in this birth and future births. Buddha's teaching called as Dhamma is universal code of conduct to end rebirths sufferings. Hii TRS we have an old rock temple in North India, Himachal. It is an old Ram temple partially broken in a massive earthquake in 1905 but the main structure still survived. In this old monolithic temple there is a Buddha face statue carved on the main shikara Or the vimana of the temple. So at least this shows there is an association between Hinduism and Buddhism Or at least the people who constructed it and the King believed in this. The temple is still there and looked after by ASI and I have pics of the same.

@@su-mu I tried to know more on the subject. And I found Buddha is considered as one of the DashaAvtars of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism. As per ASI the temple was built by King of Kannauj (surprisingly - in a remote hilly jungle of Himachal) but the local legend says something else and dates other structures in the vicinity back to Mahabharata era and even this temple made by Pandvas. As per the story the temple was left incomplete because the identity of Pandvas got disclosed during Agyatvaas and therefore had to run away. The main Ram, Laxman and Sita idols were placed later. There is also an engraving written on rock wall at the entrance of main temple in an ancient Indian language which is still uncoded and not understood by ASI as per my info. Astonishingly and to Highlight this magnificent ancient temple is a monolithic rock cut temple which means entire temple complex with 13-15 vimanas is made of single rock in this case Sandstone.The cluster resembles Sumeru. It also has a beautiful pond in front of her and is part of temple just like ancient South Indian temples.

Buddha is indeed an avatāra of Visņu. But it wasn't Siddhartha Gautama Buddha. There have been many Buddha's before Siddhartha Gautama and will be several more in future.
The 9th Avatāra of Visņu is Sugata Buddha. According to Vaiṣṇava Bhagavata Purāṇam, the ninth avatāra was born immediately after the beginning of Kaliyuga in the city of Gaya. We know that Siddhartha Gautama was born atleast 2500 years after the beginning of Kaliyuga in Lumbini, hundreds of kilometre away from Gaya.
The Buddha mentioned as avatāra of Visnu is different than Siddhartha Gautama. Due to latter's immense popularity among masses, "some" acharyas who opposed Buddhism appropriated Siddhartha Gautama as avatāra.
I am hindu but have highly respect for Buddha because he is historic icon of Jambudweep not mythological. Any Bhartiya ignoring Buddha means ignoring bhartiya sanskriti. Maximum path/tradition of Bharat derived from Buddhism.

There's very less study about Buddhist tradition from Buddha, In Tipitakka - The Jataka Katha section and many surtas/ suttas have guided civilised people as well, if you see the Buddha gave 5 sila for common people, but tor monks they have 117 rules.
It was never a tradition to make everyone a sanyasi neither did everyone became a sanyasi, household ppl also followed the teachings of Buddha without being a sanyasi

Gautam Buddha was an enlightened being, he was freed from the cycle of birth and death (samsara). If he is freed from birth and death then why would he take any Avatar or Reincarnation?
There are no mentions of Hinduism in any scripture of lord Bhuddha's but there are mentions of lord Bhuddha in Hindu books. Hence Bhuddism is oldest religion in the world.

There is a jataka tale,Dasaratha Jataka... Narrated by Buddha... In which there is a story of Ram where he goes to Exile with his siblings lakshman and sita. Read from a proper pdf not wikipedia. There is no telling of he went to lanka or sita is his wife.
So if we go by the narration that Buddha is an incarnation of vishnu then what he says in the story should be accepted as fact and the entire Ramayana loses its significance. If not then, buddha is nothing to do with vishnu and he never believed on the concept of a creator creating an universe. The Buddha tells a lot of stories of different Devas in different realms. Brahma also being such one god with an expiry date on him.
Also if you go by scriptures, there are not 10 avatars, some tell there are 12 avatars or 13 or 25. The 10 avatars being the major one.
The problem between Buddhism and Vedic religion started with the time Buddha giving sermons and Kings taking buddhism as an alternative for vedic religion. Vedic religion was filled with rituals and the brahmins held higher post in it and they were the beneficiaries of this rituals. These were the times Beef was the primary delicacy of tye brahmins and you can find sacrifices of cow and descriptions of Veal meat given in detail. So once Buddhism took hold of the masses and it preached vegetarianism, the Brahmins rebranded vedic religion. Plagiarized buddhist teachings into Upanishads. The Nirvana No Self of Buddha became Brahman in upanishads( not shudran or kshatrian 😉). Thats the very reason they started owning Buddha as vishnu's avatar.

1. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the most important Vaishnava saint was born in a humble brahmin family.
2. Sant Kabir, the great bhakti saint was a weaver.

Firstly the man i.e Buddha himself didn't believe in any God incarnation. Cause it's basically one of the ancient "nastik darshana philosophy" i.e. atheist philosophy of india. So no debate over it. Secondly i totally disagree with the guest that Advaita philosophy won over any philosophy. Cause the proponent of the philosophy i.e. "Shankaracharya" is called " प्रच्छन्न बुद्धा" means "disguise Buddha" cause his philosophy was very very similar to the famous Buddhist scholar "Nagarjuna". And also not everyone in Buddha's period was leaving homes to become sanyasis and attain enlightenment. Cause Buddha himself gave many rules like "four noble truths and eight fold path" and many to follow for a common man. So that he can attain enlightenment too. And there are many examples of that in Buddhist literature.
Buddhism is nothing to do atheistic doctrine at all. Buddhism do believe in Deva incarnation as there is example Arhant monk Nagsena believed to be buddhist God Mahasena. Yes, it is true Buddha was not incarnation of Hindu Vishnu. Buddhism believe in all beings can dwell in all realms of existence.

For me Brahma means people who attainted through intellect ,Vishnu means people who got attained mainly through heart and Shiva means people who attainted by sheer physical nature .As Buddha's teachings are mainly based on compassion he is called incarnation of VISHNU By Hindus . Krishna is also same the same as he embodies love and compassion. J krishnamurti can be compared with Brahma .Osho with Vishnu. Sadhguru and Raman Maharishi from the sHiva path

Buddha didn't find the peace and the root cause of suffering in Hinduism. That's why he has choosen different path.
This is factually incorrect. There are 112 paths which lead to the supreme union between human and parambrahma (the ultimate supreme energy/consciousness) in Sanatan dharma. Sri Gautama Buddha rediscovered a path of this union that was not so followed in those times.
So quite literally Sri Gautama worked and established himself in the Sanatan Dharma sphere only...He never said Budhhism was a new religion, nor did he ever say that buddhism was not a part of hinduism/sanatan dharma.
There are other branches of hinduism/sanatan dharma, namely jainism, sikkhism, buddhism, vedanta, vaishnav, shaiv,smriti, astika, nastika etc.
In todays era, in search of self identity in this world, many people want to divide every part of hinduism into a new religion...but when there establishers didn't exclude these methods from hinduism, why do you ?

Also, in sanatan tradition, you don't find peace merely by visiting a saint, you have to work for it...which involves years of practice of vrat, saadhana, upvaas, aatma nirikschana, atma-pratibandh, bhutashuddhi etc. These are literally the things that he practiced for the rest of his life.
He himself mentioned that he is not the only Buddh to be born on this earth, There were many buddh who walked the earth before him, and many will walk the earth after him, so lets not disconnect Sri Gautam Buddh from the great past lineage he hails from, that he himself practiced and followed throughout his life.
