It was an absolute pleasure meeting the lads and thanks to everyone for your lovely comments regarding the Ukraine family that stayed at my home. Even after they left the boys sent the little girl a lovely gift Thanks again lads Regards
As an Irishman born and bred, this video makes my heart swell. The land of a thousand welcomes isn't just a catchy tourist nickname. It's Ireland at its core. We treat every visitor as if they're family. As a nation of only 4 million Irish man and woman, it truly brings me joy to see the positive affect with have with people from all over the world.
surprisingly or not its actually had a huge uptake over here, many families over here are involved in foreign exchange programmes so often have a spare bedroom and since the pandemic they have been put on pause and in place people have been taking in entire families. There is still a lot of built up anger here since being under British rule for so long and as a result of the Russian invasion most feel we can relate and want to help where they can
Unfortunately nope, I live in the village they got stranded in (Rochfortbridge, Westmeath) and she picked them up in Lucan on the edge of Dublin, 40mins away from where they "gave up" :/
I love how one team is always like "i bet the others dont have such a great experience" and then cut to the other team, and both have an amazing time... like it shows that its not just a "coinincidental one time experience" but everybody can have that

The man who took in the Ukrainian family has an earth-shatteringly beautiful heart. To recognize one’s immense privilege and then act with it to aid others is such an amazing thing. It breaks my heart to think of that beautiful girl - who wouldn’t take a $2 bill - sheltering in a bunker away from bombs. No one deserves that. I hope Yes Theory considers aiding that family and other Ukrainians with the money made from this video. As said in the video, “We don’t realize how good we truly have it.”
Beautiful video, I lived in Ireland for a couple of years, it brings back so many good memories of my time there! Irish hospitality is incredible, I remember my first day in Dublin I was lost I asked for help to a couple and they took at least 30 minutes of their day walking me to where I needed to go and they gave great advice on where I needed to visit and do! Ireland is such a beautiful country!☘️🇮🇪🍀
