Sad, sad news. As a villa fan living in Germany the Villa View has been so valuable in keeping in touch with things. Thanks so much for putting a smile on our faces for the last few years. You'll be missed. All the very best.
Sad to hear that the channel is ending guys, it'll be missed. Always entertaining even in the dark times and head and shoulders above the other Villa podcasts out there, due in most part to the personality you both bring to the show.

This is on par with Benteke leaving, absolute disastrous scenes. Happy for Tom and Bardell, great duo but going to have to listen to a podcast without them just doesn’t sit right with me, those other Villa podcasts just don’t hit the same😔 that being said got to be thankful for the time you guys and everyone else put into The Villa View, UTV.
Give the MOMS podcast a go. They get get good insight to how the club operates and Vot goes on there occasionally.
As a Villa Supporter in the United States....you all made following AVFC abroad a joy! When we went down to the Championship I was gutted due to the lack of coverage on this side of the pond, but I knew week in - week out I had an incredible source to turn to for those dark days in the 2nd tier
Overall I'm just extremely thankful for everyone's effort on this channel & the amazing content created! You helped a clueless 17 yr old kid just watching football to be able to learn so much about the history & passion of Aston Villa Football Club!
You will be dearly missed! Cheers

As a displaced American Villan this channel has been my major link to the club! I've been around since the early days. It's been amazing to watch you guys grow. Thank you so very f*cking much for all you've done for the club and for the supporters. You've kept a lot of us sane during the rough times! I'm shockingly emotional knowing this is ending. I'll surely miss my newly formed Villa family. Thank you again and good luck moving forward! ✌
It's a sad day. I've been following the channel for 2 1/2 years now. As an international fan it made me feel a lot closer to the club. Your quality coverage made the highs and lows of the Championship a lot more palatable for me and i'd imagine thousands of other supporters. The phrase "quit while you're ahead" certainly applies to ye guys. And in another sense there's a Golden opportunity for another content creator to fill this space. Good luck with your future careers. You will be missed.

Its bloody sad but we all have had a great laugh and plenty of enjoyment from your hard work and professional efforts! You kept my enthusiasm for all things Villa going even during a dark time in our recent history.
If Villa get into Europe any time soon (wishful thinking) and get drawn a German side, I want to see a one off podcast special. Enjoy the rest of the season and of course Wembley. The selfish side of me is saying WTF?? Ending the best Villa channel on here (seriously nothing compares) NOT HAPPY. But the compassionate side of me is going to miss your ugly mugs. I've watched every podcast since pre season 2018 and going to see my team every week with my daughter during that amazing season that lead to promotion while watching you guys along the way was the best time ever. This podcast has really helped a fan from across the pond feel like they too are just another fan in England, chatting between games about anything and everything Villa and heading to the matches after work. It's been awesome to be consistently reminded that there are (great) personalities strewn throughout the Aston Villa supporters population, and it's been fun to live through the highs and the lows with the individuals who are actually there in the flesh. Absolutely gutted.

Thanks so much for all the entertainment over the years fellas. Started watching whilst I was living in Canada at the end of that terrible relegation season and have been following from Australia ever since. Having not been to Villa Park in years it was so special for me to be back in Brum in attendance at the live event last June. You were all lovely and Tom in particular seemed like such a genuine and warm guy. Grew up in the Holte and you've kept me feeling so connected to the club and, by extension, home over the past few years. I'm so sorry that it's ending but chuffed everything is heading in the right direction for you. The channel will be sadly missed.

Does this mean that Tom's notes from the last Live event might now be worth almost the £50 I paid for them? lol! Sad to see the Channel ending and considering that you have nearly 20 thousand subscribers I think it's a bad decision to just drop it like a hot brick. Maybe you could have held the door open until such time as a couple others decided to take a chance on running it. I'm sure there would be no shortage of volunteers. Having a studio is not an essential part of making a podcast these days - although it does look a bit more professional, I grant you. Having a bit of a talent does help though. Maybe you should reconsider and give somebody else an opportunity, like you fellers were given one by Rollo, before you turn the lights out for last time and shut the door on a successful Channel. Good luck to you all, whatever you decide to do going forward. I'll be there on the 28th, all being well (healthwise), to say a proper goodbye. Wouldn't miss it for anything. Very sad news, but appreciate the reasons. You were a lifesaver when I was living in Michigan for a few years and then in the Netherlands, and kept me in touch. Have really appreciated the decency behind everything you have done - you mention Adam Wright, but you have always been fair with the players, and I will remember how you reacted to the crowd abuse after the West Brom home defeat. Wish you all the very best with your new ventures. I felt proud to be associated with you, even from the background, and grateful to have been part of the whole network of listeners and respondents.
As a Villain living in Japan, the podcast was my go to for Villa chat and gave me a much missed sense of home. Sad to see it end but will continue to follow what you all do. Thanks for the great content. All the best for the future, UTV

Devastated, been living and working in New Zealand & Australia, travelled Asia & South America but one thing remained constant, My love for Villa and not missing anything the Villa View put out there. The 'return to Wembley' will forever be etched in my mind. Cheers lads, will be greatly missed.

Massively disappointing that the channel is coming to an end. All of the videos, but especially the podcast, have become a regular part of my week.
I want to say a huge thank you to all involved over the years. It's clearly taken a lot of time, effort and money to maintain this labour of love, and I'm glad that it's also helped in the progression of your careers.
I'm sure that occasional podcasts for big Villa news would be appreciated by all. You've linked up over the web before. However, I also get it if you just want to draw a line under it.

A sad day.However, I'll never forget walking up the Witton Lane with Dan before the Norwich game and I said "Bruce out Dean Smith in!" and he agreed, which was a minority opinion then. He then posed for a pic with my son JL and it made his day. I left thinking 'Proper bloke, proper Villa man' Thanks for the memories and good luck to you and everyone involved with the Villa View. I've been watching the Villa View from pretty much the beginning of the channel and it's been a part of my weekly routine since then. Living in New Zealand this was a great way to keep up with Villa as much as possible. Gutted to see the channel ending but happy to see how you guys have progressed over the years! I've been a subscriber since the days of Ginger Luke on fan cams after batterings at the hands of Liverpool and co. How far both the channel and the Villa have come! I am obviously devastated to hear the news but understand that this is the best for all of you.

Gutted to hear it’s the end of the podcast. Favourite Podcast by a mile. Through the championship years good and bad, the Podcast was and still is a therapeutic way to deal with the ups and mainly lows of being a villa fan. Good luck to Tom though. Over the years of watching through the gloom of what was the championship to villa then changing to a manager who is a born villan and went 10 wins in a row and then onto the premier league it’s been a rollercoaster. Been watching this channel throughout all of it as much as I can and for most weeks it became in my weekly routine. I got to meet Dan at the start of the season too which was great too! So many positives I could go on and on. Gutted to see it end but I’ll always be here with notifications on just in case you were to come back to it in future😂

Really sad to see the channel end. I've been a Villa fan since the early nineties, yet you've massively enhanced my experience as a fan like nothing else.
I wish all of you folks involved in the channel well in the future, both personally and professionally and I'm glad it's because your hard work and brilliant content has been recognised.

Genuinely going to miss listening to you two, loved everything you guys did. You guys always gave us a voice to speak on about the Villa. Being an American Villa fan is tough because at times I felt like I was disconnected to fellow Villa fans and it felt so far away. You guys provided a sense of community and a bond to people like me who can't get to Villa Park every week. Thank you Dan, Tom, Matt, Rolo, Chris, Jas, the Cambridge Mafia, all the lads behind the scene, and to anyone else involved in the channel for making me, along with others like myself, feel apart of the fan base and apart of this great Club we all support. I use to pay attention to the MLS a lot back 3/4 years ago, when David Villa, Bradley Weight Phillips etc were playing. Giovinco too! The Villa View was almost therapeutic back when it started and was a big comfort during those dark times in the Championship when it seemed we'd never get back to where we belong. Thanks for all your hard work to all involved and best of luck for the future. UTV

It's been a great channel lads , I think it's done a great job of helping the club on the social front . Gave a voice to many and a steady balanced view during the dread , doom and acid after we went down . You had a great opportunity to to meet some heroes.

Listen to as many villa podcasts as possible to pass time and get my fix, but the Villa View is the only one that I truly got excited to listen to each week. Dan and Tom's (and Dolan's) personalities just meshed so well and I always just felt like I was in on a villa convo amongst friends. The podcast was an avenue to feel connected to the club from overseas, but honestly would've listened to you guys ramble on about just about anything. Really going to miss that, but happy for all of you and your career advancements - hope to see an occasional reaction video or two in the future! THANK YOU, congrats and UTVV/RIPTVV

Great Podcast and had become a real staple of my pre-game ritual (especially at the weekends). Great patter between each other and other Podcasts just don't hit the same level, will be greatly missed, cheers lads!
Gutted lads been one of my rituals for the past 2 years watching the podcast each week good to see like minded villa fans with good banter and decent knowledge of the club will be looking out for future projects from everyone involved
You guys were/are HEAD AND SHOULDERS above any other Villa podcast. In fact I'm sure some other podcasts only started because the Villa View existed. Dan, the new 1874 is excellent and will (hopefully) continue fly the flag for sensible Villa facts and discussion. (We should discount the Claret and Blue - who discuss their favourite meal deals for 10 minutes during one podcast!)
I have to admit and I've said it before that during my 'Villa depression' of 2014 to 2016, I switched off a bit and it was only the Villa View starting up in 2016 with Matt, Rollo, and Dan that started my interest up again. and I'm eternally grateful.
So thank you so much for everything . Dan and Tom you are both going to severely missed by me and the withdrawal symptoms are going to be hell!! But I always knew
you were both destined for bigger and better things.
