Invoker is really not meta right now as a pure carry bro you'd play Invoker as a tempo guy in this patch, like you would if you play ember spirit late game Invoker really has no redeeming factor in this patch so it'll be tough so it's best to go quas wex, buy magic wand, talisman, phase boots, urn, witch blade, spirit vessel, force staff, bkb focus on having a fat pos 1 by making space and having successful smokes As for beginner player, I would recommend this 1. practice basic combo (so you're not awkward on let's say TORNADO and your hand just goes wwqrd) 2. practice efficient combo (the least amount of spells you use to have the biggest impact in fight) 3. have a good general idea on how invoker should tempo in this patch afk farming Invoker is really risky if you don't know what you're doing in this patch
the easiest thing to do for Exort Invoker in this patch is of course have faceless void/tidehunter/earthshaker/enigma in your team focus on 4200 gold aghanim scepter and you can wipe 3 enemies in an instant but that's also provided you have a good team
@@Chip_Munk the thing is… there is no good dota strat on Invoker in this patch Icefrog really screwed Invoker over in this patch Plus in my defense, he was asking about “guide to beginner player” Me myself I was spending days, weeks, even months trying to find “The Invoker build” Nothing worked that well, everything that I do ended with average result Even if you do a full magic build Invoker with a parasma, eblade, shiva, sov, bkb (you can put refresher on top still) And one single force staff would screw you The problem is not the items, its about Invoker lacking in damage so bad in mid game to late game One simple change Icefrog can do is to remove three chaos meteor talent and replace it with 60% or more chaos meteor damage (it used to be 80%), or at least -15 sec cooldown on chaos meteor (they did this with shard, they removed it by now) Only then Invoker can be shining Because the items are complimentary to the hero, you still need the hero to be strong and full of potential The only good strat on Invoker in this patch is “You are an extremely skilled Invoker player”. Even then, you can still lose Very not beginner friendly Either you hard practice Invoker and wait for new patch, or you play any other hero (just like sumiya does for months now)
@@Chip_Munk added note if you want to reply with “what about physical invoker” I dont see any invoker is good with physical build unless somehow invoker gained 5000 gold advantage against enemy pos 1 and 2 (at minimum) and maintain that gold difference the entire game Even then its hard to reach that stage xD
Can you please play techies mid?

Better teaching good dota than average strats
