Greetings! I am in Burkina Faso, and have been having problems with my rosemary plant in the pot, especially in hot season. It seems to revive in rainy season. I may change the pot and see if that will help with more drainage.
Greetings. Containers generally dry out more so the plant may need more watering during the hot season. So if possible try to move the container to a shade in such a season.
It depends on the rate of growth of your plant. Six weeks would be o.k but put into consideration that in some season growth is slow hence less frequent pruning needed
If the branches are completely dry ( brittle on breaking) it may be hard to recover but if the branches are still wet, then give it water, ensure that the soil is moist all the time, give it some fertilizer and it should revive. After it has revived you can change poy
