Karen I have been studying this series and it is SO beautiful. I can't wait to do this, I have don't have the desert storm paper but I have the both Neenah Vellum Bristol and the sanded tone Canson for pastel which is what I am probably going to do, we will see.

I use Rembrandt toned desert paper and find it really nice to use, especially with prismacolour and luminance pencils. Not sure if you can get it in USA though. Love your work 🥰

Thank you for sharing how you color it too. ❤ By the way, there are artists I've seen who sell seasonal boxes of coloring pages, and put them in a clear or colorful cellophane type of pack and I always thought that was a cute idea. You could add a logo or thank you sticker to the front or maybe tie a ribbon or kraft string around it to fancy it up. I would buy it 100%

Hi Karen! OMG! I was laughing so hard when you were talking about paper. I tried the Desert Storm paper on your recommendation.......and I loathed it! I'm a Strathmore kinda girl. 🤣 There is another kind of toned paper and it's sold in packs of 25 and it's cut to 8.5x11 size. It's called Canson Mi Tients and it comes in lots of colors. I can send you a couple of sheets along with the rest of the Desert Storm if you like, let me know.
Thanks for doing Layla, I am awful at dark skin tones but you've inspired me to give it another try. I like your color combinations, so I'm going to give it a go. The great thing about printable coloring pages is that I can print out another copy if I really mess it up and keep trying. Mahogany red is one of my favorite colors for lips along with henna. Off to get Layla for myself!
That’s so funny Alexandra! You are the first person I know who hated the paper! Isn’t it funny how we all have our own tastes in supplies! I keep trying to like the toned tan but I just can’t get the hang of it. One in ten comes out good. Although I love the Strathmore mixed media in tan and grey, it’s too thick to work for coloring pages. I would love your extra paper if you won’t be using it. I’d hate for it to go to waste. Wow 😮!!! Her skin is stunning!!! I love ❤ her eyelashes!!! If you would put a book together, I would totally buy it. You are correct that Mariola Budek had made her « Set Of Art » book as loose cardstock put in a binder type of cardstock. It is super fancy but a bit expensive. I do buy all your pages and I have intentions on doing them all eventually but right this moment, I’m going through a major health setback that has left me unable to concentrate enough to be able to follow a video. Hopefully, in the near future, I’ll be able to do it. I haven’t been able to do any of Monja’s either. I have one of her Wips that is 90% done, but I don’t have two brain cells to put together to follow the last video. It’s quite ridiculous, but it’s going to have to wait until I am better. In the meantime, I will continue to support you by watching and liking your videos and purchasing your colouring pages.🥰😘😍🤩💝💘💖😘🇨🇦

Please can you tell me what Black you used for the eye lashes I've rewound several times and cannot find it. My prisma never gets such a thin line like that despite a million attempts. Thank you
Thank you Esme! It is a Schpirerr Farben black pencil. My absolute favorite black among all my sets. But a Polychromos black is excellent for doing eyelashes too. ❤️❤️❤️

Maggie I always try to say the colors I’m using. I also try to show the pencil. Occasionally I do miss one, but the colors I use are always listed in the description box below the video.

Karen, Would you mind telling me what printer you use? I love your images but can't get the Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock to go through my HP printer. Thank you!
That’s a bummer Marie! I thought it was thin enough to go through most printers. Mine is an HP smart Tank Plus 551. It has a rear feed so the paper doesn’t have to curl through the printer. It’s expensive initially, but it comes with 2 years worth of ink. I probably spent $100 bucks a year on ink previously, so it’s worth it. Some regular printers have a door in the back where you can add your paper that way. So check yours to see.
Also, if you don’t mind toothier paper, Strathmore Toned Tan will go though any printer.

@@mariesecoy6110 If you try it Marie, be aware that it will take a lot more layers to fill the tooth. It’s more textured than the papers I use. Don’t get discouraged. Just add more layers. I never got used to toothy paper. But lots of people love it.
