Mexican mafia has a very strong presence in Chicago and there are plenty sources sating these facts. Plus surenos are heavily tied to the Mexican mafia so they will have spots in and around Chicago and they can keep that from Latino gangs in the city very well. Gangs in the chi aren’t tied into the city like they think they are.
