Navalny was so defiant, spirited, and brave, that the loss of such a legend doesn't really hit me until now when I see him smiling behind the glass and in those penal colony videos, especially his last one. The Russian opposition movement suffers from in-fighting, and now a new figurehead will have to be chosen to fill some pretty big shoes. Navalny was not the ideal opposition leader for everybody, but he had some traits that will be hard to replace, especially enduring as much as he did. If there is someone out there who can rise up to the challenge, surely "Дед Мороз" left his best present for last: inspiration.

Three things are certain: 1) Putin feared Navalny; 2) which is why he placed avalny in the most isolated of prisons; 3) Putin is responsible fir his murder, as he was systematically exposed first to a chemical attack that almost took his sight; then he was poisoned with a military grade chemical which almost killed him were it not for German intervention; then he was imprisoned in solitary confinement and a day after appearing gaunt but cheerful in court, he dies suddenly! Very likely poisoned once again. All of which point to exactly how weak and pathetic a 'leader' Putin is.

None of my business but this brings back memories of our own history. Dr. Jose Rizal's firing squad in 1892 and Ninoy Aquino assassination in front of millions of people watching the television while getting out of the plane upon returning to the country from being an exile. Both Mothers mourned the assassination of their sons but that didn't end it from there. My own kid was the first group to be sent to the borders during the start of your war. We have no business to be there but for the sake of Peace and alliance there he was. I was grieving the very first day the war begun in Ukraine and I didn't even lose my kid. Praying for the people of Russia and Ukraine. Please don't forget the Power of the People. We proved it 2x in the People Power.
