I saw one video where there was some sort of river on the floating island that went Eastward on the map, there were some cave spawns there on the outside including dung beetles.
@@Crabbytron Gotcha, I'll take a peek at our server to see if anything spawns there. Just started playing on it a couple of days ago and haven't ventured that far yet.
Love that they are on skull island. I got super lucky finding one there day two on scorched and snagged it right away. Another efficient and informative video Crabby!
Yeah, it seems like they kept the spawns for the skull island the way it used to be in ASE which in my single player had things spawning inside the bottom area near where you first showed them. In ASE I recall dung beetles spawning on top. So it seems like they just left the spawn locations in but didn't adjust them based upon the new map so in this case they seem to glitch to either down there or inside the base mesh. I found several islands where absolutely nothing spawns, want to build on one but now worried they'll add them in afterwards and might not be as good of a base location. Though this one island would make meat runs a massive pain and it's pretty far from the Obis.
@@Crabbytron I've seen some pretty glitchy areas in caves that I hope they fix before I go in them. One area where the cave despawns just walking on the ground I've noticed in some videos. 😨

On ASE they also spawned in the floating island and underworld but I have not seen them on ASA

yeah spawns seem all over the place in same caves jungle cave is a mess of meshed spawns

Can't find them in the skull island I'm playing single player maybe that's why?
lots of them on my server but hardly any single player. Try the jungle immune cave
