Just a little suggestion to Lamy 2000 users who find a bit of difficulty with the nib’s “sweet spot.” The Oblique Medium (OM), Oblique Broad (OB), and Oblique Double Broad (OBB) all write beautifully and do not seem nearly as critical as the traditional nibs regarding the “sweet spot.”
This pen is wonderfully smooth. When I got it finally, as I wasn't impressed with the look at first either so delayed the purchase for that and the purchase price, I didn't know I would like it this much. The only thing that comes close for me is the gold nib smooth Parker Sonnets (and I think they are a lot better looking!). Even after a couple of years of using the 2000 I still love writing with it and I keep two of them (S and M) always inked up!
For the price it better fill reliably. Thanks for showing the review. Enjoy
This pen is definitely on my list. Thanks for the overview!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching :)
Very nice indeed.
Thank you so much!!

That’s wonderful! Thanks for sharing. I’ve been using it all day and have been loving it!!
Wow, I love Lamy safaris and vistas but I don’t like the look of the feed or nib at all! Thanks for the review. I can take it off my wish list 🙃
My pleasure! :)
Why are they hard to get a hold of?
Supply chain and manufacturing issues - so I'm told...
