The thing about hard times interlude is that it highlights krays versatility out of left field. Its like getting something at a restaurant you didnt order but then loving it because it was free and it tastes delicious
The Art Of War was one of my top 5 favorite albums that changed my perspective on music. The melodies, lyrics, harmonies (no pun), and DJ U-Neek beats made this a classic for me. I bought this album with some of the money that I made from tips, carrying Christmas trees to rich people's homes around my neighborhood. I even dubbed the whole double CD to cassette tape, so I could listen to it over my aunt's house who didn't have one. Ha! The memories!
"NO SURRENDER" is a song on their first EP "CREEPIN ON AH COME UP"...on RUTHLESS RECORDS There's also a song -NO PRETENDER on their own record lable MO Thugs records (1996)
Love Hardtimes!! It's actually a sample from The Temprees- "love between a boy and girl" a beautiful song as well. Krayzie did his thang though. Also layzie's solo is sick!!! Amazing song then it follows up with "if I could teach the world and to end it with family tree? Man...no wonder it's my favorite Bone album.
It's as I mentioned before. While I regard AOW as Krayzie's album it also showcases the potential each member had to go out on their own. The next album (Resurrection) belongs to Bizzy. The album after that (Thug World Order) belongs to Layzie. Strength & Loyalty is Wish's. The World's Enemy belongs to the group. Other than that Mind of a Souljah is an amazing track. I wonder how you'll react the Wish's solo.
I've been waiting for this, This is the first time they tell you what T.H.U.G.S. are "Trues Humbly United Gathering Souls". I can't think of a single Bizzy or Krayzie song off the top of my head. I will get back to you on that. For Layzie solo I would say do "Listen". It's off his first solo album, he goes by L-Burna on that album.
Bizzy n immature -give up the ghost Bone-give it up or can't give it up Kray-im a monster Bizzy-nobody can stop me Bizzy-tje roof is on fire Bizzy-thugs cry Bone-gravity Bone-am I a good person Bone-let it all out Bone-more than thugs I can go on forever
Layzie had a son that passed after a few days/weeks he was born. This was dedicated to him...babbi boy Angel. But this song is one of the tracks that I made an effort to learn all the lyrics from beginning to end when it came out. It is just deep. During this album you started to see their individuality and they talk about personal stuff them went through and what was on their mind on a spiritual and emotional level. Altho this video missed some words. At the end "money be on my mind"....bottom line. that was missed.
No Surrender is a song off of the Ep “Creepin on a Come up” it’s commonly referenced in their lyrics, as it was staple in their character during their come up. Unfortunately if you missed it the Ep was actually pretty important to the introduction of Bone
ua-cam.com/video/9AIrkasVazA/v-deo.htmlsi=KTSWxPd0QMWFjesR this was my reaction to it!! I did a lotta jumping around for BTNH reactions before doing albums. Here's no surrender
All the members have solo albums except for Wish. Not counting mixtapes, Compilation or EPs Krayzie Bone has 10 studio albums, Bizzy Bone has 18, Layzie Bone has 17, and Flesh has 5.
Thug Mentality!! The whole album is fire!! One particular song that sticks out to me, is krayzie bone- Mo Murder (Mo Thug Family scripture) album. It's my all time favorite song. You should react to that. Also baby Boi, I want to say it's layzie bones son that passed away. It could be a reference but I could be wrong. "No pretender" is a song, it's off the (Mo Thug Family Scripture) album- amazing song as well. Bizzy.. let's see... the gift is my favorite Bizzy album. A lot of people love "Fried Day" by Bizzy. "One night Stand" is dope. Thug Mentality album!!😂
Fun videos, man! Alright, here’s two you gotta do: Murda Mo - Krayzie Bone (Mo Thugs Family Scriptures) Ain’t Said No Names - Krayzie Bone (Mo Thugs 2: Family Reunion) You will be blown away. ✊🏽
DISCLAIMER: Go to 4:55 for start of Hard Times reaction and Go to 17:53 for start of Mind of a Souljah reaction!!
If you want something from the same Era roughly from Bizzy is way 2 strong is from 1999.

Thank you for the info though. That is some deep sad writing to end with but so powerful...makes my heart break
