Boston: The capital of New England.
The only thing outsiders know about New England
@@Jjjaaahhnn It's the Hub of the Universe! Now downgraded to the Hub of Eastern Massachusetts.

i didnt even know that and i live in Massachusetts lol
First US city with a subway system.
And it almost seems like they havent updated it since... nor cleaned it
@@jaysonlima7196lmfao real
@@jaysonlima7196 very hard to do that with the narrow tunnels, takes a while to get used to.
Ayuh, have taken the red line many times. South Station to Mass General.
And I’m pretty sure they haven’t changed it sense 😂😂
Easily one of the most walkable and clean cities in the US. And definitely my favorite. Thankfully I’m within a 3 hour drive 🙏🙏🙏
Moved to Boston and I'm so grateful every day. It's the best place I've ever lived. 🙂
Isn't it great?
@@TeeveepicksuresI agree! I’m loving it here
I can't stand Boston lol u can keep it it's basically a large Springfield.
@@fusionmechanic1 thanks! I will.
@@fusionmechanic1 Stay in New Hampshire.
Talk about the traffic in Boston... At least warn the U-Haul drivers to stay off of Storrow Drive!
And the roads are like a giant tangled piece of string in shorter terms, A MESS
Foxborough, where the Patriots and the Revolution play, is within the boundaries of the Boston-Cambridge-Newton MA-NH Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is the metro area you cited for the population.
Pffffff NH can f off.
As someone who now lives here, thats the most accurate name for this objectively insane metro area
Barely. The line between the Boston and Providence metro areas is the next town over. Part of the same CSA, however. Still, 25 miles from the CBD could easily receive interpretation as "well outside" regardless of actual status.
@@MeTalkPrettyOneDayIt used to be Boston-Cambridge-Quincy for the longest time, as those were the largest cities in the principal counties that made up the metro area and could not receive consideration as part of another submetro (such as Lowell). Don't know why OMB changed the definition, as Quincy is over 100,000 now and is *still* larger than Newton.
@@ericgittleman4324 Lynn, Lowell, Lawrence, and Quincy all have a larger population than Newton and are in the Boston MSA
I love Boston. One of my favorite cities.
Boston and New England will always be my home
BELLA CIUDAD LA AMO.
Speak English mexican
Born and raised in Boston, had to move because of military and I can say I miss Massachusetts everyday 😢
You know what they say, it takes 1 hour to get from boston to boston
Boston is simple beautiful
Fun fact Holyoke Mass in western Massachusetts has the highest population concentration of Puerto Ricans of anywhere in the US.
@@mostdopecaptain3350 Really and here I thought the whole time it would've been The Bronx NYC!?
I love USA and Massachusetts,God bless you
I can’t wait to visit Boston one day
Eh. Townie here. You may be setting your expectations too high.
i hope u get a chance to,if you like history there's plenty of it here and unlike others big cities ,its very easy to walk around and explore,if i could give you one bit of advice ...dont drive here..we rank in top worst traffic and equally so in parking 😂
Its nice. There's a lot to see. The culture in most areas is alright. In some areas, don't be black. Its not safe.
You'd be more than welcome! Just don't drive around the city. Pedestrians are careless and parking is wicked expensive
I advise against it lol
I adore Boston❤
I love Boston.
I’ve lived all over the country and Boston is my favorite city. I love it so much I moved here 5 years ago and feel honored and grateful every day to call this place and all of its beauty home! ❤️❤️❤️
I grew up in Cambridge back in the 60s-70s and now live in the Midwest. I could never afford to live in the Boston area again. Maybe in some opioid-depopulated town in Western Mass. but not Boston.
Damn bro, you roasting me right now. I'm from hampden county in western mass. There's only a few small towns that are actually really good.
@@UltraGasLighterSupreme It's the Biden shitter effect
@@UltraGasLighterSupreme I have relatives out there too, from Brattleboro, Vermont to Hampden. It sounds kind of sad, especially for the younger people.
Looking forward to #Boston400 in 2030!
Yes, it'll be a BIG birthday pahty!
Hope you all come!

this is a cool channel keep it up, maybe talk about the universities and industries
It caught of fire like twice and the road map STILL looks like someone dropped a plate of spaghetti on it and decided “Eh good enough”
Just visited Boston. ❤️🫶❤️
Feel I'm going back to Massachusetts
BOStON YOUR MY HOME🎶🎶🎶
Can you do Detroit next? I’d love to learn more about the rust belt and the Midwest!
Hell Naw
Mi sucks
I am trying to get the f out and move back east
Here's a list of counties in Massachusetts 🌟:
- Barnstable
- Berkshire

- Essex
- Franklin
- Hampden
- Hampshire

Boston your my home
Boston! Where the traffic has been rated one of the top worst cities for congestion! Trust me folks, it sucks! I know
first hand. Traveled 🧳 to town on the second(work) shift and there’s always traffic! Move out west and I mean east of the Mississippi!
thank you for these Boston facts
Great video. Still waiting for Arequipa, Perú 😊
Peru is wonderful for friendly people, but Colombia is even friendlier
i think combined statistical areas are a more appropriate measurement of an overall regional population. Especially when you look at just how culturally similar Worcester is to Boston, and take into account that Worcester is only a 40 minute drive from Boston, and its still extremely densely populated in all the towns between the 2. if we look at combined statistical area, Boston has the 7th largest population in the country, just behind Dallas-Fort Worth, and with over a million more people than Philadelphia, Atlanta and Miami
Birthplace of the nation, the state has the most developed society and economy in the country (and 2nd highest IN THE WORLD) according to HDI. Its also the most educated state, largely immune to nature disasters save blizards and the occasional errant hurricane/tropical storm, nor is it engulfed by crime and/or riots/inssurection from either party. Boston, the last truly normal major city in the union, boasting effective (by american standards) public transit, as well as bueatiful coastline, forests and mountains all "nearby". Boston, by far the best (and most european) the US has to offer in terms of major cities - A Slavic-American
Is foxborough (where the Patriots play) really outside the Boston metro region? Maybe it technically is but it's really not that far from Boston
It's certainly not "well outside" of the metro as Geoff says. It's definitely part of Greater Boston
It's closer to Rhode Island than Boston.
It is indeed within the official boundaries of boston's metro area
I live in Rhode Island. I can drive to Foxboro in about 45 minutes. It's another 45 minutes to Boston. I would consider both RI and Foxboro part of the Boston metro area. Lots of people commute from Providence to Boston.
@@karens1967 Providence is definitely big enough to not be metro Boston, I mean they are part of the same csa but their is so much commuting into Providence from surrounding areas and areas considered Boston suburbs that it doesn't really make sense to me. Boston and Providence are definitely deeply connected but I feel like if you're counting a region of 1.6 million within another greater region, your sort of loosing the science of a metro area or a single interconnected city.
Love it!
Love your vids you helped me out alot with geography
I was born there but moved to a smaller town nearby.
You missed a trick. You could have gone to Boston, Holland, Lincolnshire not a city by Royal Charter but a Borough and the original connection to Boston, The Pilgrim Settlers and the Mayflower.
Boston Irish is all you need to know about!
Thank you for the video ❤
TY for sharing 🙂
Massachusetts isn’t called a state it officially known as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
So Massachusetts isn’t a state? It’s 49 states and a Commonwealth then?

Neither of those teams are “well outside of the Boston metro region” they play in foxborough, which is a part of the Boston metropolitan area. Only a 30 minute drive away from Boston. Gotta do more research next time.
I dont know why but this City Intrige me.
The entire north end is just packed with tourists too😅
BOSTON ❤️👍🇺🇸🥰 QUINCY, LOWELL, TAUNTON, CHELSEA, NEWTON, CAMBRIDGE, PLYMOUTH, BELMONT, ARLINGTON, LOVE YOU!!❤️💞
I live in worcester, Massachusetts . I visit isaiah thomas, and he is buried in rural cemetery . He was going to be hanged by the English for printing about the war his printing press is in the Smithsonian. Also, George bancroft is in the same cemetery . So much American history .
And I thought Isaiah Thomas was an NBA player…
I live 1 1/2 hours from boston
‘well outside the city’ i wouldn’t say that i grew up here and foxboro is legit like a half hour 45 mins from the city 😭
The heart of the union where we start revolutions.
You gotta do Providence, RI now
Guys im so sorry, but he looks like Jimmy-Steve from shameless
Waiting to see Edinburgh 👌🏻❤️
Gillette Stadium is in Foxborough, MA and I know the New England Patriots and New England Revolution play there, but Foxborough is a suburb of Boston at the edge of Greater Boston in Norfolk County near the county line with Bristol County which that county is part of Metropolitan Providence.
BOI DONT TRY TO EDUCATE ME ON MY HOME TURF THIS IS MY STATE

best NFL & NBA franchise in boston 😊
The size of a bean 🫘
Maybe we need another tea party!!
I LOVE BOSTON😭😭😭BUT I LIVE ON THE WEST COAST
Bostons massive population is not as well known as it should be because of the tiny 50 square mile city limits. if you were to count all the towns and cities directly around boston, to make the land area the same as Houston (650 square miles) then it would have a much larger population.
My home
Awesome thank you. RonnieBlueeyes Massachusetts
The Patriots were the Boston Patriots my first game was jets against the Patriots in Fenway 1963
waiting for Bristol and Aberdeen in the uk
I love Boston. Could never ever live there though
I live in Rhode Island

When is the best time to visit Boston?
summer. it a freezing here in winter
Every place is renamed by Europeans around the world even native peoples were living there 10 + thousand years ago living their . In South America North America etc and where the name came from Victoria fallsin South Africa that’s where all humans came from . History is great sometimes it’s use less or no means at all
Looks like we need another tea dumping party
Oh ya don’t forget that jaywalking is legal 💀
U used that apple map feature to create that 3d city son?
Half of this video is an introduction saying nothing and an ending begging for likes subscribers. Sigh...
Incorrect, this guy just insulted everyone in Boston, Mass, and all of New England as a whole. Disgraceful.
I said same thing to myself but he'd known that if he ever came here,i mean its the only real city in 6 states
never heard anyone say "id really like to see Worcester someday😂
Within 5 days!
The way Boston is set up now, a standing army could never march on Boston. Its all alleys and rooftops. Would be like shooting fish in a barrel. Makes it a pain to get around though.
👍🏻
Boston, claiming the patriots is like a parent who gives their kid up for adoption and comes back 30 years later to claim the millionaire they've become.
Forgot to mention it's an overprice dump😂
It's one of the cleanest cities in America.
Started playing fallout 4 very helpful
It’s actually “Bahstin”
Do Santo Domingo next it has a great history
Bro foxwoods is Connecticut cuz I used to live in Connecticut and now am in Massachusetts
Please do Houston, TX
Its truly a beautiful city we call the "HUB" of the universe,i think because when you drive or try to park here, you'd wish u were in another universe 😂
22 miles is hardly "well outside" in the context of a metro area but Foxborough takes your slight in stride
Im a lifelong MA resident and I think I've been to Boston 5 times. I live in the western half that most people don't even know exists 😂
The Pats are not "well outside" the metro area.
Just dont come here and say anything about our accents. We know, theyre funny. So is yours!
I think you mean SCP-4006
Boston❤, my homie❤,
We have great sport teams 4 everything
Worst state i have ever unfortunately been to.
Can you please do Connecticut next?
Do NYC next
