3:10 side note on elemental capacitor and explosive. It’s arguably one of the best rolls if you play on void a lot. Plus 30 stability does wonders for flinch and it’s a perk as free as they come
Yeah Im going for an elemental capacitor with either rangefinder or explosive specifically to play on void and then hopefully with accurized rounds and a range or range/stab barrel
Good list. Side-note on Imperial Decree, if you're decrypting for that make sure to swap toons once you get the 5 sword patterns. If you can't get to 5 stash a couple copies to add deepsite to next season.
5:55 That is also arguably the best PvP roll as well. Gutshot procs twice off of EP and adds enough damage to 3 crit 1 body, or even 2 crit 2 body on lower resilience.
I’d like to see more old Gambit weapons return. I like the modern style they have of post golden age weapons. Ex: the black/grey metal and leather grip you’d see on ww1 and 1930s weapons. Weapons like that vs the high tech and mystical weapons of the game really add depth to the different eras in time the game takes place.
@@MumboJumboZXC 8 new weapons on top of the seasonal weapons + dungeon/raid would just give you filler weapons/reskins that would be used one and dismantled. I'd rather have quality over quantity with a steady overhaul of all the sunset gear that we lost post forsaken.
I got mine with Moving Target and Vorpal Weapon and I see it as an in general use gun. It feels really good to use in PvP and a decent option in PvE against yellow bars.
Except for when they axed half the content people paid for, so many had to Speedrun it or just dedicate time to it to get what they wanted or experience the stories and missions.
Blame goes to youtubers, not bungie on this one. When one good weapon goes there is always a new one that comes up. You don't have to grind for any of these weapons, just look up what's good when you can

Im sure its been said already, but reminder that they will be decoupling range from zoom, so rangefinder might not be the play. I do wonder if they will change how the perk works though.
the nice thing about taraxippos (as far as I know) is that the first one you get comes with zen and explosive if you really don't feel like grinding. pick it up, even if you don't like scouts.
Small Update on the Imperial Decree You can still earn Defiant Engrams by going to the war table and picking up the artifact there, and then do the standard activities to get the engrams.

Rose placement reward is currently bugged and unfortunately doesn't drop. You only get it from the 3 matches which means first instance takes 10 matches
Warlocks, if you love void, I recommend Deaths Razor. Titans, if you love solar get your sword as well. These swords are really fucking good, I keep it up there with the "Falling Guillotine"
For that scout rifle I can't spell I rolled hatchling and Zen moment with the suspend build Fallout has hatchling procs unravel rounds and causes suspend love the roll so damn much
I'm not sure if they fixed it, but if you haven't completed the first competitive questline that rewards you a Rose yet, get the quest on all three characters. Once you finish it, it will give you a Rose for each character that had that quest on them.
On the subject of Rose, you have to complete the entire quest from Shaxx (including the promotion set) in order to get random rolls. I've gotten three identical Rose's so far because I'm bad. SO I'm either astronomically unlucky or I'm impatient
@@OCtheG I've only ever gotten the Slideshot/Eye of the Storm roll, in addition to every other perk being identical, which leads me to believe that you have to complete the whole thing, rather than just get to the point where a Rose can be rewarded to you, as I initially assumed.
I swear to god, I got red boarder Imperial Decree's and Throne Cleavers (or whatever they're called now) back to back almost every time I went there the first day of the week after the reset. The longer I waited to do it during the week or if I got more engrams and decided to go back, the less often they seemed to drop.
Love coming back to D2 just to miss out on some of the best weapons in the game, its also nice to see that pvp is still a hellhole even after a year of not playing

The day I got that last roll I wanted on Baja Scout was the day I stopped caring about the Games. Funnily enough, Titans suspiciously started losing after I stopped grinding weapons. :3
I've turned in all of my extra defiant engrams, 2/5 shotgun and 0/5 for all the swords. Not surprising considering the only Neptune weapon I have unlocked is the sniper and GL. The rest of the weapons are either 2 or 3 /5

My pc setup had to get taken offline awhile back, early in the season. Just finding out I needed to be farming rose (all my rolls I DID get bad only one or zero range perks and the 3rd/4th perks were also not usually great either) And now I’m sad cuz my favorite HC is no longer gonna be within my reach… yayyyyyy… They better replace it with something spicy

I believe that Taraxippos has a double god roll for me. I got Gunshot Straight and Fourth Times in the third slot and Explosive Payload in the fourth slot. It is my most-used scout rifle of all time, and, usually, I'm not too fond of scout rifles.
Its not going away, but trust can roll with tricorn, which lets it 3-tap with 1 head 2 body. Really fun considering the existence of a ... certain hunter exotic making ability kills dummy easy.
Ohhh not Rose if that goes I’ll only have my god roll Austringer, the now better Not forgotten/Luna’s howl, or the farmable at times Eyasluna, Hawkmoon, Round Robin, Thorn, Bottom Dollar, Ace of Spades and the dump truck of other very viable HCs. I only jest but we already have so many good to reliable hand cannons that kinda do the same. I think the community will live without another hand cannon for their hand cannon. But definitely agree on the title and imperial decree but god those red bars are elusive.
I personally would say only if you take pvp really seriously. Austringer is more than enough for the average player, but if you wanna make some plays on trials or something like that then Rose will give you an edge, it has more potential with those stats and the extra movement speed boost that it has.

I’ve gotten a few gutshot/payload rolls. Only two hatchling rolls.
For comp, a shot of something strong isn't enough. Pounding two cans of four loko is my pre-comp ritual. That also may be part of why I do so poorly.
