GREAT team!! The rider has a flawless seat, and the horse is absolutely gorgeous! Healthy and shiny coat, in perfect shape, relaxed, willing, athletic... I'd buy him in a heartbeat if I had the money =)
A horse with his head this low is round in his back and is from behind. It's an awesome feeling to ride a horse that is round and supple like this one. Also, we do all the same things a dressage horse to about 3rd level has to do, but we do it on a loose rein with a lot of leather between our bodies and the horse's back. There is a lot of body communication and almost no contact with the mouth. That's a trained horse.
Lol, I've only ever ridden English but I've always wanted to go western, just to try it. However after seeing absolutely no contact on that horses mouth I just keep on thinking, 'Holy Hell, my horse would be half way to Mexico by now!' Haha I love seeing how well trained western horses are, it's really great to see. :)
My cutting mare, the palomino, and I took Western Dressage lessons this past summer and didn't work cows for a couple of months. She was excellent at the dressage movements and it improved my riding (good instructor), but when I put her back on cows my trainer was super pissed. She couldn't work cattle! She was stiff in her neck and ribs because in dressage you never disengage the neck from the shoulder for suppleness.
Can we just not care if English or western horses/riders are better? You got your horse to suit your preferred discipline(s), yes? So ride to suit your horse, however that may be. They're all different.
i want htis horse but i am training my own horse 2 do this taking a long time but it does take patince i love my horse she does well in every thing! i mean just yesterday we did a metre ten and she is 7yrs and i am 11yrs i was the 2nd youngest doing it
It really pisses me off how people think english horses don't work as hard, or we force them to do things. They do work as hard as the western horses, they just work through their backs and haunches rather than their chest and neck. And a horse with its head high is "flighty", give me a break.
why don't we all just stop comparing englisch with western...xD I did both, so I know it's not really comparable. western just focusses on different things than dressage, and with that come different potitions of the head. these horses are trained to this kind of things, just like dressage horse are trained to keep there neck arched higher than western horses. and as for people saying we western riders 'abuse' our horses that's just nonsence. every sport has it's bad apples. not just western.
I just love how you put "like a English Jumper"... My pony has no martingale or anything and when we do jumpers SHE puts her OWN head up, I bet you have no clue about English riding do you? I do lots of liberty with her to as trained her by myself. I love all disciplines that has to do with horses and before you bash all English riders maybe consider not all fucking "English People" tie their horses heads down or use bad forms of "training". Jesus.

Horse wanted to jump into those rundowns a bit, but regardless, it was a gorgeous run. I'd sell my soul for a horse like this!

the rollback is awsome :)
WOW..ist das ein deutscher Quater?
@NetzKaiser Umm no......reining is a very competetive sport. The horses and riders have been training together for a long time to achieve this

@NetzKaiser Rodeo does not mean wild horses.
Are the horse and the carriage a team? It looks so. I thought rodeo means that the horse is wild and not very well trained.
respect!!!!
@equiniphile Okay, thank you for the answer.
super Reiter super Pferd!
das einzige was etwas genervt hat war der über trieben de applaus XD
Ja die Zuschauer waren so respektlos. Fluchttier bleibt Fluchttier egal wie gut trainiert!
Sylvia !!! super geritten
are u a judge? *rolleyes*
Der Applaus ist das reinste was pferde schon mal garnicht mögen
Das ist halt so üblich. Und einem gut erzogenem, routiniertem Westernpferd ist das egal☺
+Pia Niessen Ja okay stimmt auch wieder

Omg why does it matter?! I bet you know nothing about western! How about you just accept the fact that English and western are different!
