They claim that curly hair is a african thing while they straighten and bleach their own hair or wear blonde wigs, mimicking something only one ethnic group on earth has naturally. Only white people should be allowed to have straight blond hair if we were all to follow their logic. If we take it further to clothes it only gets worse. White people invented most of these modern styles of everything from t-shirts to suits to waist fitted dresses. And then again if we step it up to languages, only white people are allowed to speak english and spanish and french and so on. How far will the rabbit hole go.

I am not trying to be rude but I wanted to point out to you that while black face may have originated in the US, this effects more than just American people with ethnic roots from Africa. Ethnically African people or just people with darker skin live all over the world so its just incorrect to refer to anyone who might be effected by "black face" as "African American". It's sort of an American centric view I guess. When you use a term like African American, it eliminates all the pther dark skinned and African people in the world who might be effected by black face. If someone complained I was doing blackface because I have naturally curly hair, I would laugh in their face.
i'm a white american with natural curly hair didn't know i was doing blackface whenever i let my hair do it's own thing 🤡 fr tho y'all are clowns for thinking that non black ppl can't have natural curls
Bro even White ppl with dreadlocks get callt out for that to what the fuck is going on with this World 🤦♂️
Shut up
They claim that curly hair is a african thing while they straighten and bleach their own hair or wear blonde wigs, mimicking something only one ethnic group on earth has naturally.
Am confused she is Marocain...Ay Damn
“White” Americans (especially those with curly hair) are mixed. Sorry friend but you aren’t white
I didn't know that she was from Morocco ,now it makes sense why her real name is eman.
She looks so much better with curly hair
Anthony is very knowing of the straightened hair club😂
black people aren’t even the only ones with curly hair lmao i’m spanish (from spain) and even though i have a paler complexion compared to other people of latin culture my hair is just like hers naturally. people always think i’ve permed it or force curls on myself 🙄
well maybe you have some moors in your dna 😅
yeah no fr, my brother is entirely european, and he has a full on afro, his hair is really curly.
My daughter has dirty Blonde hair and it’s so curly she looks like Little Orphan Annie every morning naturally lol
@@kaiaros I don’t think you can have a Afro if you’re not blk
I KNOW i’m so sick of white ppl talking over us
Damn straight hair is whiteface then 💀
“You requested my opinion on this didn’t you?” 😂😂😂
It doesn’t matter if it’s natural or not. It’s just hair, and everyone can do whatever they want with their own hair
I swear people are stupid just because somebody has curly hair does not mean their doing blackface like there are other races that can have curly hair other than us Blacks 🤦🏽♂️
Her hair is freaking beautiful
There comes a point where you just have to ignore these types of people, their opinions are just dust in the wind.
Curly hair is blackface???
Yeah, haven’t you heard? Punishment for doing having curly hair is 10 years in Twitter Jail.
@@ghosthealthgames My brother has curly hair what will happen to him
@@VitaminDealer He gonna go to Twitter Jail. Sorry man, nobody is spared.
@@ghosthealthgames But he doesn't have Twitter and he's 16
@@VitaminDealer twitter dont care about ages, unfortunately he need to go to twitter jail 😔 sends my regards to him
People are ignorant sadly
Fr
Y’all remember Anthony’s emo hair.
I’m latino and have very curly hair 😭 People are so stupid when they claim only black people can have curly hair
Who even cares if she's from Africa or not? That's not the relevant bit, the relevant bit is that her hair looks like that naturally. If that doesn't suffice for someone, they're not worth the effort.
I care and how dare you undermine my important perspective.
Someone copied your comment, just thought I’d let ya know
@@HDGamerofficial holy shit, and it has double the likes too hahaha, that's pretty funny
@@HDGamerofficial it's a bot
Not relevant either. Black women do not own curly hair so if we want to curl it, we can.
I remember someone telling me in (a 95% white) middle school that I had “black people hair” but I’m half white half Filipino. I would paddle brush TF outta my curly hair and fried it with straighteners. It was always frizzy and poofy and the texture was fucked. Fast forward 10yrs, they’re all trying curly gurl methods on their hair to only achieve flat oily waves. I can’t even be mad anymore 😂
The orginal Filipinos were Black.
@@user-nf5dm8tl5reven if this was true they aren’t now. What you’re saying doesn’t mean anything.
"You are doing blackface."
"I am African."😢
Is curly hair a race thing?
What even….
I love her curls thooo
People are so silly it’s insane lmao, so she has to straighten her hair daily in order to please people? The only reason they say that is because they are used to seeing her with flat hair on stream, that’s it. Her natural hair is clearly very curly.
Well we're dealing with one of the most self centered and cring humans on the planet in Pokemaine
@@Shifytee123 does it matter who they are? Shit is stupid
Nah she doesn't, she just likes playing victim. If you really think you NEED to straighten your hair for people you don't know and make it a big deal about it, you're the issue lmao
@@TomTKKbro don't underestimate what people on the internet would go out of their way to threaten someone famous like poki with death and stuff just because something stupid that they don't like about streamers
@Mia rose So just stop reading comments or put down your phone or get over it? Everyone gets death threats, they're just empty threats. Its whatever 🙄
Imagine gatekeeping a hairstyle
Curly hair brings out the Moroccan features that are so clear on her face. She’s beautiful either way.
*New anxiety acquired*
Ikr
Yep lol
I swear people get offended over anything they can possibly find
The way “every time I wear my hair curly” sounded when it left her mouth, it gave me cancer.
I think they missed the blackFACE part. Like they didn't even say blackfishing. they said blackFACE
It's not tied to skin color, my fianceè's sister is as white as can be and has natural curls just like pokimane
"bonded for life"
The editor sneaking in a chemical joke, and I am here for it, well done.
I was looking for this comment omg
no because her curly hair is literally gorgeous😭
Black face involves painting your face a different color to mock or antagonize the black community. She was just giving her hair a brake from 300 to 400 degrees of hot metal from hair straighteners so her hair doesn’t damage.
I’m Moroccan and I have curly hair a bit more curly then her’s and know I wonder if people thought i was doing black face by wearing my natural hair💀
that was the most awkward high five ever
Little do they know she is “blacker” than 90% of the people criticizing her
trollface ahhh thumbnail 💀💀💀
Those people are actually doing opposite of defending African American.
I hope that makes sense lol.
@@Shmaples That makes great sense, but she takes place in America.
white people were never on our side… did u actually think they were?
Saying curly hair is blackface is like saying Panda Express is Chinese food.
Curly looks soooo cute
Anyone with a large social media following/presence will have everything they say or do criticized. Sometimes it will be for a reason that makes sense, and sometimes it will be for ridiculous bs like having curly hair.
As a person with naturally curly hair, I normally make it look straight with pomade. People get surprised when my hair looks natural, and I tell them... I'm not white lol
Scots can have curly hair too
@@MtVesuvius that is true, definitely didn't think of that.
Everyone one arth can have curly hair, know what kind of style only one race on earth has that everyone loves to copy? Straight and blond. If curly hair is blackface then how many millions are doing whiteface with their chemically straightend and bleached hair?
The fact people called that “black face” just proves that society is dumb
that’s cause that person was probably trolling and y’all took the bait
Her hair curly is soooo fucking cute though omg
It's funny how so many people seem to think that all people on the African Continent look like Subsaharan Africans and that those are the only ones with curly hair.
she’s so pretty with both straight and curly hair. people are ruthless for literally no reason
Her hair is beautiful natural. Omg
her hair curly isn’t even that bad, it looks better like that tbh 😭
Ngl i like her curly haircut more it looks really good when its all poofy like that and also kinda fits her
