Have you registered your Agro Company? If you have, then form cooperatives and join association of farmers, then attend meetings and find out what the Govt is doing. Govt cant be the one looking for you.
@touskinhouskin thanks for your advice. Yes, we're registered and pay taxes and employ so many workers. Being a corporation & Registering with the govt means they have your data. The govt is supposed to publicly inform farmers on how to apply and meet requirements. This shows transparency process. There are millions of useless cooperatives and meetings in Nigeria. Only few with political affiliations receive help in the name of farmers.

Let's not be simplistic. It takes time to have them produced and then shipped. Tractors are not just available off the shelf, I ordered a brand new car once in the UK and took delivery 11 months later....on the surface we can all be skeptical but dig deep and the picture becomes clear
Another conduit pipe for stealing billions. I farm 12.5 acres in Sagamu. My needs are simple. I don't need a tractor that I will spend a fortune to maintain. I need the local government to subsidise the clearing of the remaining 7 acres of land for me, and to subsidise the labourers who can make ridges for me. The rest I will take care of by myself. Farmers have simple needs like those outlined above,
Since you've had the spirit of mistrust how will you be able to get what you want, did you ever approach the LG of State for a loan or any subsidy. Kudos for doing something but be positive and go for what you want instead of joining those who sit on the fence and complain.
Mr man! No one said they're giving you tractor. 😅😅😅 I believe the tractors should be distributed to all local government involved in farming especially the food basket area. The tractors should be managed by a competent private company that will provide "man and tractor" hire for farmers in each area at an affordable rate (subsidised if necessary). You're talking about clearing 7 acres of land, are you expecting human labour to do this? Even ridges can be made by tractors. All you have to do is to agree with the tractor driver how you want it done and within day, your farm will be ready for planting.

There are more handy smaller farming machines that each farmer can own, use and maintain at affordable prices from India and China that is more far reaching positivel effect to the farmers.
