Honestly, with Jacob's analysis, the dude who did the Mastering deserves major props. He quietly left the spotlight for Pablo and Simon. Although Mastering Sound Engineers are normally quiet about their work anyway.
Same thoughts! So many props to them. The mastering on all the Pagsibol tracks are chef's kiss.
Mana means inheritance, heritage while mananaggal is a mythical creature with human body and bat wings that flies with the top half of its body while leaving the lower half on the ground. This creature hunts for humans by night when everyone is sleeping. This sends a message that SB19 has the grace and blessings (like mana) in their work so don't sleep on them. Another message is that no matter how high and far SB19 fly, their feet remain on the ground.

Manananggal is a creature that detaches her upper body from his lower one and flies like a bat. The lower body stays on the ground while the upper one roams at night to look for victims. Manananggal is a metaphor that no matter how high they fly or whatever success they receive, their feet will still remain on the ground.
At first I like Bazinga more than Mana but as I keep listening to both I like Mana moreeeee! 🔥🔥🔥

This, for me, is a masterpiece. Production-wise, this is the best for me. I love the dark vibes and Thriller/Horror like. The vocal layering in this and the harmonies are soooo *chef’s kiss. The mastering and mixing amazing!

Fun fact about mananggal or aswang in general is that to pass on their powers they need to pass on a pearl-like-round heirloom thing they keep in their body.

Like what SB19 Justin said, Manananggal is a song about reaching high while keeping grounded. Just like a Manananggal (a Philippine mythical creature that separates its upper and lower torso, the lower part stays on the ground), they will soar high and go places while keeping themselves humble or submissive.

Mana = power, heritage, inheritance
Manananggal = Ancient monster/mythical creature in the Philippines. It came from the tagalog word 'tanggal' which means 'remove' or 'separate'
So Manananggal mana means, stopping someone or removing the power of someone to be able to do things.
They already said that it's about keeping grounded. But there's more to it, and here's my own interpretation in the chorus part.
It’s a subtle tea for their doubters. They keep on doubting the talent and skills of the boys which i think doubting removes their mana.
