I am so happy you liked it. Book 1 can be deceptive. It’s written as an old school fairytale so it has the typical tropes and problematic plots that really old fairytales have. It’s also a mix of a bunch of different tales, some of which are not super well known such as the Ballad of Tamlin. The rest of the series is not written as a fairytale and you will see the difference immediately( the rest of the series does pull inspiration from mythology though) you will see book 1 very differently after book 2. I hope you do a vlog for book 2 :)
