Ol' Banana-Nose Lance Russell. Great and underrated wrestling commentator. He and local Channel 5 Memphis weatherman Dave Brown were a great commentating team, equal to JR and Lawler himself, or to Schiavone and Heenan. I used to get up early on Saturday mornings to watch the Memphis Championship Wrestling on Channel 5, and Russell and Brown were always there to make the wrestlers look good. Classic stuff.
it's like a hell in a cell without roof with hair vs hair stipulation.... the old style wrestling had good ideas and many videogames didn't never put this possibilties of many types cages/cells and many stipulations for more match- types options.... It includes the difference beetwen NO DQ, Anything Goes, No hold Barred, Unsanctioned, Hardcore, etc...
Idol, Rich and Heyman had to wait 'til more security got up to the cage. Once they got into the open space, they sprinted to the back and had to wait several hours after the show to leave because of the fans looking for blood.
Rumor has it Rich was hammered when he finally made his appearance. It's also rumored that Rich didn't realize just how much danger they were in from the crowd until the next day!
We'll never see matches like this again.
