Great ideas! A question, i bought Explore 3 and getting started with customisation for my wedding. But is it necessary to have the heat press? Can i not just use baking sheet and iron?
I've used a hand iron and an ironing board before. It works okay but you don't get the same heat and pressure that you get with a heat press. Like you could make a shirt but the vinyl would probably peel after a few washes
Just use no water at all, put it on the highest temperate setting and push down with all the weight of your body on it

These are great but I doubt my cricut could cut small text out, small like shown in the parents’ mug or the handkerchief example images.
Yes it can. I have cut out so many tiny intricate designs. Like the writing on my lanterns.

I am sorry but the toy unicorn has embroidered lettering which is more durable than iron on vinyl. It is not the same thing that you can do with your Cricut.
This is true, embroidery is different than HTV. However, I have made so many stuffed animals with HTV and that stuff does not come off. Especially if the fur material is short like on that unicorn I showed. It presses on just like it would on a t-shirt.
