Hey Sega, you want to be different from what Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat are doing and be better than both of them? Add visible wounds, cuts, bruises and blood to the intensity of each blow/hit, dont overdo-it like Mortal Kombat, make it sort of more realistic and you will be golden.
This is Virtual Fighter, always striving to be as close to reality as possible. Even though the final game probably won't look like this, Sega will make sure it's something special!

Great direction, SEGA made the best decision to trust RGG with Virtua Fighter's future, it's in good hands, now the difficult part to wait for the release :)

This is just me overanalyzing a 30 second clip, if you disagree with it, GOOD. I'm just rambling here, but: The game won't be this choreographed, and the block animations won't transition thst smoothly, but it is presenting what the gameplay will be like: 1) It'll be fast with buttons that will help you steal turns quite easily. Either having plus on block attacks or with commital buttons. 2) Guarding will be a super poweful tool. Either by having a just guard system or something like sou calibur's Guard Impact system. 3) being put into the ground does not mean your opponent has the advantage. In fact, he loses advantage if he puts you down. Oki, wake up options, meaties any type of set ups, will be practically useless. Expect this game to rely heavily on standing resets, pokes, whiff punishing, and constant rock paper scissors style interaction. People will be exhuasted playong this. 4)Hitboxes will make sense. If a hook aims at the head, a crouch will let pass by, if an attack is mid, again doing a just guard will let you retaliate quickly. Jumping attacks will be telegraphed and reactable. 5)Counter hits will trigger a specific animation. And will obviously deal a truck load of unfair damage. This leads me to believe this game will be poke heavy, with lots of crotch jabs and using as much fast buttons as possible, and avoiding putting your opponent on the ground. There will not be a lot of combos because a whiffed combo starter(usually a PPK) can just be countered, blocked, coruched over, leading to counter hit state. This will be defensive friendly, mashers will be punished. This will also have a lot of of close quarters non Committal jabs and pokes to exhuast your opponents until you can slip in a combo starter to deal wall carry combo. offense will be earned, not rewarded. Everyone else have fun with that
This would be completely counter to the base system of VF. Looking over the patch notes for Revo as well as developer interviews I feel fairly certain that they're very on the pulse on what makes VF tick.

@@hovsep56 Actually, it's usually more of an internal tool, created specifically so that the whole dev team could see with their eyes what they're supposed to be striving towards. So that everybody understands exactly what the end goal is. Usually when such demos are created, the game doesn't exist yet. At all. Same with the trailer that we've been shown. I seriously doubt it'll come out in 2025, to be honest.
@@hovsep56 I know what it means, I'm just saying what it typically means in the context of a game development's cycle. Just in case, you know? Many people are not aware of what these videos are or what they're for and then act all shocked when the end product looks a lot different. "It was all there, why did they change it?" No, it WASN'T there. Nothing was there, it was literally made from nothing for illustration purposes.
この時を待ってたぜ!
THIS is IT! The KING is BACK!
It looks already very good! The meter is gone and it looks like Akira has a new fighting style. Maybe it's selectable? OMG, can't WAIT!
IMO, hopefully it doesn't have any one button flashy super moves/rage arts. Hope it is a full-on grounded close combat
If they change Akira's fighting style, shits going to hit the fan! It's Iconic

These are placeholder models and not actually Akira for the concept vid and I can guarantee Akira will 💯 fight with Bajiquan as seen in the teaser.

I hope we get more classic Sega game series revived! This is a great start!
It looks so good! the movements are so smooth; it's like a choreographed movie scene.
It is choreographed.
Its a concept video, so yes, thats because it is.

I don't agree with point 1 and hope you are wrong about point 5 lol.
Other than that I quite agree with you. Nice analysis.

Anybody else notice it says not actual gameplay?
that's why it's called a concept video, it's to show off the engine

Please also keep ringouts! Please let us kick Pai's hat off again? ♥

That's how you do a fighting game. Not the over the top shite that Capcom has ruined Street Fighter with
There is just no way it will turn out like this. Still cool.
At this point, it's reality fighter 6 lol . This looks like a next gen game coming out on Playstation 6 😂😂😂😂
