The woods are a fav spot for many but dishes the dirt on my parody of an enduro rider as I've had a fair share of offies in there. I applaud you all for riding those in the wet. I tend to play safe and ride the XC loop through the forest and then follow up along the Glamorganshire ridge line which goes by the rocky outcrop with the Welsh word Cariad carved into the cliff face (good photo op) and pass-by the wind farm for a decent 40k loop with about 800m of elev gain. On a clear day, views along the coast and over to the Mendips. But then I'm more XC/ Trail and to some, may not float their boats.
That XC loop sounds really great, will have to check it out! And yeah I was surprised at how well the trails held up in the wet. The conditions weren't too bad but it definitely doesn't feel like the summer any more!
Yeah I did! Combination of it being our first time there and the conditions being a little wet in places made us less confident to begin with but we found our stride eventually!
there are more trails at Barry sidings which isnt far away from there about 6 miles and Tyn Y Coed which is about 3-4 miles away from there. Tyn Y Coed is a bit more mellow Barry sidings is steep and gnarly some real scary stuff there
This place looks brilliant some nice drops there. Cool edit dude 🫡🔥🏴
Yeah it's a really cool place, definitely want to go back!
Have never been but it looks great! Awesome job on the vid Mate 👍
