It's amazing that those goats could see anything with all that hair on their face. I'm sure they feel better now. They sure look better. GOD bless y'all.
That’s some mighty fine angora fiber. So expensive for fiber artists to find and then purchase. There’s nothing wrong with taking the mohair off goats. If anything, shearing helps goats, sheep, alpacas. Thank you for sharing another story about your homestead. ❤
I plan to add Angora to our goat herd soon to cross breed with our Nigerian Dwarf goats to get my Nigora herd started. If you ever want to process the wool all the way into yarn, there is a small scale fiber mill about to open near me in Ohio.
Watching them get sheared with all their hair, then seeing them after the process total day and night difference. The hair does look Fine and Thin, thanks for sharing 👍
You’ll have to slip Clancy a sleeping pill and give his chocolate milk mustache a shave then shave a strip down the center of his head as a reminder to keep his upper lip clean. 😂 LOL.
Excellent video guys. I sincerely hope that the crazies don't come out of the woodwork and start harassing you. Because you know that there are people in the world who are going to erroneously complain that shearing is somehow "cruelty". (I have seen comments like those, on videos of sheep being sheared in Australia.)
My ex-husband sheared sheep back in Ohio and his brother in-law my son now does it too shared sheep they would Shear approximately 240 - 250 sheep in one hour
I love these videos! Makes me really want to start ranching.. my only “feedback” would be longer videos. I can’t get enough! 😂
Thank you for shearing your goats and bringing us all along. Keep On Ranching!
Our pleasure!
What a difference, the shearers make it look like a walk in the park. Thanks for taking us along!
Right?!

Right! They looked so much cuter with hair though!

Just saw your commercial on TNT!
So cool! Thanks for the note!
That was interesting to watch. I’ve watched sheep get sheared. It’s different. I’m guessing it’s because of the type of hair. Thank you for this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
They seem less jumpy, confused and goofy after their haircuts.
I believe the belly hair is separate, too.

They are such pretty goats. ❤❤

Fun to watch!

The goats are saying.
Oh no their taking our coats again😊
😂
I couldn’t be a shearer …..I have OCD …..they would have to be perfect before I’d let them go
Yep definitely not a trait for a shearer!

Awesome!
What is the cost of the Angora sheep
You never shared the cost of shearing the goats like you meant to. ☺️
I caught that and got on to him when editing! 😂

We haven’t sold it yet. We’ll do an update when it sells.
