This is (probably) the last video I plan to make about my UK applications. If you have any further questions please comment them down below oh hmu on LinkedIn.
Besides what I've said in the video, do remember to go through your personal statement and note down keywords you want to talk about (it helps with recalling them during the interview).

Hey! I'm planning to take up the MSc course of Advanced materials and sustainable infrastructure.
Could you please tell me how critical are they about bachelor's grades and what else do they consider to scrutinise students. Could you also throw some light as to how to stand out, despite having low grades like 7.92gpa, even though its from a tier1 college. Like what should I add in my SOP, like do you think a research paper in a sustainable material help? I've started to get anxious, please help me ma'am!
A research paper will definitely help. Skim through my short videos, I've talked abt the SOP there :)

Thank you for the tips! If I may ask, would it be helpful if I specify that the EPQ I wrote about on my personal statement is incomplete and a work in progress? I can talk about what I've done but I'm scared the professor will ask me to specify in great detail but I am still researching on it.
You can mention that you’re currently working on it (even to the professor).

How did you do an internship without an undergraduate degree ?
A lot of places hire high school students to the grunt work in return for letting them tag along and observe on the industrial visits. You can try cold-mailing places or finding a link through your parents etc.

Hi! I just wanted to know if I can still stand out my application by my extracurriculars if I'm a bit low on my grades? And do they really care about sporting extra-curriculars?
Grades can be balanced out by extras (incl sports) for the US applications. However, in the UK you need to at least meet the minimum grade requirements (available on unis’ websites).

What was your GMAT score and ielts
I applied for the undergraduate program, so I didn’t take the GMAT. My overall IELTS score was 8/9 bands.
I’m from Imperial as well, Mech Eng, C&G. What do u think abt forming a content creator club?

Did you receive any scholarship?
Unfortunately, the bursaries at Imperial are very limited for international students. So I was not eligible for any.
