Building a whole crew! Should be some nobs on the cable under the bar next to the throttle, and adjusting them will sinch up the free play on the throttle.
I once bought a 4 year old Kawi Ninja ZX6R with 810 miles sitting in the corner of his garage. The guy hurt his back from work and couldn’t ride it anymore. I sold it with 20k miles later. It was a fun bike
Got my bike recently!! Wanted to get a rc390 or a r3 but was out of my budget, but ended up getting a naked sports which is close to the r3's power but ye. Got myself a Bajaj Pulsar NS400z (Indian brand) 373cc and 40hp, and brother I love it.
yeah same thing was on my ninja 500 the throttle had about an inch of play before it engaged the gas you should adjust the cable for him itll make it easier to not stall when learning the friction zone
@@RyguyIQ the throttle has a throttle cable that is behind the kill switch you have to unscrew it do this by having the bike on and start pulling the throttle until it has no play the manual says 3mm of play, i just did it untill theres almost no play by feel. the more you unscrew it the more tension is on the cable dont unscrew to the point of snapping be carefull.

This thing has a clutch assistant, so when you try to downshift, it helps to match the rev so you will not feel the bump if your revs and speed are higher than the gear that U shift, You can check assist and slipper clutch setting of ninja 400/ z 400
Generally you want to break in the first 600 or so miles (first maintenance depends per bike) by not riding hard so that the new parts can smoothen out. It varies per bike per personal recommendation. For my bud's rs660 the dealership mechanic told him he can full throttle and it doesn't matter, but an s1krr will limit your rev range until first break in.

make sure you don't just go out and get another bike.. I'm afraid once you try these 400's you are gonna start itching. Do yourself a favor and skip to the 600. don't do a R7..
