- I was a fan of the original Tuseno Shellback, but the V2's refinements just take it to the top. I'm not sure there is a diver I like more at $600. It is a strong release in every regard.

Home run. Love that dial. Love that date window. Shellback is a great name especially for that white dial. Dash of orange? Aw yeah.... Winner!
The white dial version in particular ticks so many boxes for me. It somehow looks classic and modern in design, a great everyday watch👍

I am typing this in the middle of March, three months to go for the watch to comes in. It is a long grind of a wait. I know it will be worth it and I will be happy a clamshell when it comes in, but ugh it is a long wait. I hope everyone enjoys theirs when they get them. 😁

I said i wouldn't buy a watch this year and i made a very calculated exception for the v2 of a watch i wanted at original launch but wasn't quite sure about. Seeing the improvements has given me the confidence that love has been put into this version and that i was right to wait. And if i have to wait till summer so be it!
Great watch. I believe the beads of rice style bracelet would go great with that dial and create a real winner.

I own V1 blue with date since the first release. Watch is performing flawlessly
Love the style, movement/clasp updates, and the price but, the wait time might kill this one for me. Kinda think it might have been better for them to wait until after the holiday to open preorders so people aren’t cross shopping this with things that they can get now-ish… Then again, the price is relatively cheap for a solid SW200 watch. If you buy now in a couple months one might forget and then be pleasantly surprised over the summer… Decisions, decision lol. Thanks for the vid!

I’m still contemplating about the white one. I’m glad I’ve seen it in action now looks great. It Was an instant pre order for me but waiting 6 months and pre financing 6 months is a bummer and will go against my own rules.
But hey rules can be broken

Christopher Ward C65 Trident- thicker bezel, thus bigger Numbers. The date reminds me of a Breguet Trans Atlantique. Although I remember seeing the exact same smoothly cornered window (at least) , maybe the Ianos Mihanikos- but I know for sure I' ve already seen it,in a black and white Dial (anyway) . So yes- lack of originality. Maybe the craftsmanship deserves the price- movement wise, I don't see the value.

I like the waiting part. I’ll sometimes forget I ordered it and then it arrives! Like a surprise for the cognitively impaired watch enthusiast.

You say it's a pretty unique design, and that's what we want to hear. But hey - What's this "Selten Salvage Bronze"? Look it up. It's the same damned dial, and I'm not happy about that! And I don't particularly care for bronze anyway. But... are they a new company? The dial looks like a direct copy. I don't get it. Any idea? Thanks.
Oh wow, that is a direct rip off. Selten says they've been around since 2017 but I wasn't familiar with them until this year. I first reviewed the shellback V1 with this dial 3 years ago. To my knowledge they were the first brand to do this layout. Wow, Selten is shameless.
Honestly I am absolutely in love with the design - especially that white dial one. Reminds me of those ‘l’adventure’ watches I see on the socials all the time.
Bruce, curious what kind of accuracy are you getting? And would you know what grade the movement is? I’m assuming it’s the ‘standard’ grade but just curious.
I assume its standard as well. These watches are prototypes and where running within 4 sec per day

Trivia; Tusenö translates to Thousand Islands in English and I guess it's from the many islands in the Gothenburg archipelago.
