@@AigoIII Thanks so much! Seeing how these two masters made the track is so inspiring - I think I've listened to it 3000 times already haha. Merry Christmas!
I had a band 4 years ago. We played three gigs on Iceland - our wonderland that days (I’m from Poland). Looped was our soundcheck and pre party track. Every time I hear that tune I remember that emotions and sh*t lot of excitement. Thank you so much guys for that piece. Right now I’m working as a music producer with my brother. Your sound and sensibility was a great inspiration to us. Thank you for all outstanding gigs and sets. You’ve created quite big part of my life.
Discovered this song on KEXP years ago. Still one of my top 5 songs. Sometimes I just start it and keep on listening to it for an embarrassingly long time. Simple yet powerful. Thanks!
i cant believe you dont have more views/subscribers. Every video i watched learned me a lot and i have been making music for more than 14 years now. great content, great channel, great guy! :)
It‘s so surreal. Looped has been in my top 10 since it came out and I always had the feeling it was made with so much intent and perfection. Here I see that the guys kind of winged it and are now very critical about their approach. Seeing you both being so humble about a masterpiece of music is really great. Thanks for showing this to us! Btw. please make more music together!!
Thank you so much for this deconstructed video! This song was the one that got me into Kiasmos! I would love to see more videos of this with Kiasmos songs! Happy holidays!
Amazing work with your channel! I REALLY enjoy every video you create and after 15 years of producing music in ableton (and bitwig) it's not very often nowadays that i get really inspired by tutorials on youtube but your videos always makes me eager to get back in the studio! Well done and thank you so much for sharing! Merry christmas! / Joel
It's funny to see how chill and down to earth you guys are about this mind blowing track. A track that means to much to me. Thanks for creating the track and this video! :D
Guys, I’ve listened to this track so many times. It is amazing to see it deconstructed now. Janus, many thanks for these 24 days of calendar series. Your channel is really unique, because you show a lot of creative things. Thanks for knowledge and inspiration! Happy holidays!
I've literally just been using this track as a reference for a new track I'm working on. So simple but works so well. Thank you so much for sharing this deconstruction!
please... keep doing more videos! your 24 calendar series were absolutely inspiring for me! Thank you so much for such an open and honest teaching lessons
Warms my heart to see them cutting below 20hz drastically without using linear phase mode, no fades on clip edges. It really reinforces the idea that if it sounds good, and it works, then its fine.
The series we're an absolute blast to watch ended up with a really funny one. The Both of you we're just mocking your own techniques from the past. On the other hand it shows that technique isn't everything. If it works and touches you it just does. Hope in a few years I can look back at my songs and just laugh it off😉. Looped might sound like a simple song like you guys say but making the simple things interesting is actually pretty hard. So you guys did a great job. Merry Christmas and happy Newyear guys.
This whole series was so good! So insightful and inspiring. This video was really great too, I hope someday we can see some more breakdowns of your songs and Kiasmos tracks.
Man, i have been a fan of yours and olafur for a long time now and im happy to discover your content. As a "bedroom" producer they are super useful to unlock some new ideas and creativity. Thank you a lot, keep doing an amazing job!
Wish i could listen you in Turkey some day. This is one of my all time favorite tracks. I'm in tears of joy right now watching this and thank you for making the life more precious with your sound.
Thank you for this amazing series Janus. I've watched every singe episode, but I think I'll be coming back to them in the future ;) Merry Christmas to everyone!

2:31 I'm laughing my ass of right now at this EQ curve. The bell curve at 20Hz instead of a normal low cut is killing me
