You can actually make it without the wood. Just attach the fans to the steering wheel and it does the same thing with less weight. Thanks for the idea

ooo nice idea! I like the idea of using a board since the fans will snap to perfect 90 degree angles!
the flying machine i've been using just uses the fans and the stick, but it is impossible to get them to line up perfectly so you always have to adjust your steering if you're trying to go straight

forget the plank, you can just add the 2 fans to the steering stick to create sone sort of drone
I liked the video for Marshmallow.
I just designed a similar and cheaper model without the wood. It has the ability to go downwards aswell which was easier said than done.
Did anyone get this glitch? Every time I attach a construct head to something I'm building, any other zonai devices (fans, flame emitters etc) deactivate. They won't work when the construct head is activated and attached to the same build. As soon as I take the construct head off, they start working.

You can just fuse two fans to the handles, its quite good.
Right now im looking to make a motorcycle with two wheels and the joysticks, but havent gotten it quite right
ive been having fun with a single-wheel bike that uses a balancer, absolutely terrible vehicle but it looks hilarious
If you fuse two small wheels side of side against the steering wheel you can make a two wheel motor chariot
2 poles attached to the top of a sled and 2 big wheels. The wheels are catty corner.
Essentially the sled keeps it from falling over and provides minimal friction
@@Jmanvandanman So if I understand you correctly, I'll try to walk through your process step by step, starting with materials:
Materials - 1x Sled Device
2x 2x4 Timber Beams
2x Big Wheel Device
1x Control Stick Device
Assembly -
1] Attach (1) each 2x4 Timber Beam to each outer lateral edge of the Sled Device, running in parallel with the long edge of the Sled Device.
2] Attach (1) each Big Wheel Device to the inner forward-most position on the left 2x4 Timber Beam, and the inner rear-most position on the right 2x4 Timber Beam.
3] Attach (1) Control Stick Device to the top-dead-center of the Sled Device.
See my attempt at drawing it out below if the above doesn't make sense.

Does anybody know what causes vehicles to break in the air? And how you stop it? I wasn't able to even get from one sky island to the next without my vehicle breaking, even though I had enough zonai charges. Is it because you need to activate the towers on the ground before flying into that sky?
How did you get more batteries?
Is there a way to make a vehicle that can glide but also fly with low weight?
Does anyone know why the vehicles I make start glowing and disappear before my battery goes out?

Can you fly this contraption into the sky and up to any height?
It takes a while with this design, it's not built for gaining altitude. But it's great for gaining SOME altitude. It's a pain if you're in a chasm in the depths, but for every other location in the depths it's absolutely perfect. The controls are a dream on this one, highly recommend.

No, you wouldn't be able to angle it downwards at all, I tried. If you're in the depths then you'll just hit the roof and have to jump off and the machine goes flying into the darkness.
@Freshairkaboom you are right. Using the same config. 2 fans and 1 control stick, but actually putting the 45° angle it goes way better. U can still put a light flower in the front fan to light the way. To do so. Put the fan stand, angle 45 the stick and glue to the up side of it. Than, keeping the other fan still upwards. Glue it to the 45 angled stick, it is dope.
flying machine on wii u breath of the wild just requires 2 mine carts and a chest. much more easier to build. I wish they put TOTK aka tears of the kingdom on wii u. I have a switch though and i got the TOTK as soon as it came out.
It's not a 2 by 4, its a plank! The settlers use to fly these babies for miles.

Don't forget u can use a battery too
Adds to the weight and is highly temporary. These contraptions can technically last you for an hour in the depths, batteries disappear in like 10-20 seconds.

The real caveat is having a control stick. They are rarer than diamonds if you use them too often. You fing yourself running out
You can find a dispensary and once you build it and have autobuild its easy.

fans despawn after 30 minutes. found this out while flying in the deep.
find the metal hollow plank which is far better
You're much better off just attaching the fans straight to the control stick at a 45 degree angle.
It's better for gaining altitude yes, but this design is WAY more maneuverable, and keeps completely level without touching the control stick. I tested both, and without the plank it's just a pain to angle it downwards.
Btw fans disappear after like 20 or 30 min in irl time

It'd be terrible game design to let you fly anywhere at any time for as long as you'd like from the very beginning of the game. Nintendo know what they're doing.
Wait, you don't know how vehicles in real life work do you?
They need to make the vehicles simply power off or ANYTHING except self destruct, there's plenty of creativity going to waste with a self destroy mechanic

True, but it's great for taking short flights in the depths to farm the zonite you need for that exact purpose.
