As someone who got into Kamen Rider as a young teen, it is nice to hear other people talk about their first impression and how different the franchise is from its contemporaries. Admittedly, I don't think I was as amazed by Kuuga when I first watched it, if just for a few episodes (mostly the ones with Mika) and not able to understand the Gurongi. But I definitely have a greater appreciation watching it as an adult. Kuuga definitely set a new standard that its successors generally cannot reach at times. As for favorite episodes, I'd say 35 (when Godai beat that Gurongi to death), as well as 47 and 48 (the lead up and the final battle, especially for how scary it made the main antagonist and how Godai talks to everyone he knows prior to fighting one last time).
