A Moment with Tim: Kuipto Forest

Kuitpo Forest is located on Kaurna and Peramangk Country, near Meadows in the Mount Lofty Ranges.
Established in 1898, it was the first of a number of forest plantations in the area established to ensure a sustainable timber resource for South Australia.
Today, the Kuitpo Forest Reserve covers an area of 3,600 hectares, of which 60% (2,100ha) is plantation, and is home to our Head Office and Visitor Information Centre
