You're videos have been such a blessing to me since beginning to drive truck 7 years ago. Wanting to watch things that are clean, educational yet relaxing. Here I find all 3! All Praise to, Jesus! ❤️
The Gospel of John, sooner than later precious souls.❤️

Ok… this was awesome! Thank you for the suggestion to try it with toilet paper! I don’t know how many times I have made “prison rope” now. I need to work on my splicing, but this tutorial is incredible and simple! I have always wanted to learn how to make cordage and this video did the trick. I can’t wait to try this with fibrous materials I forage when it gets a little warmer here in Utah. Thank you Creek for sharing your knowledge!

This is so cool! This guy named "Grant Thompson" made a video about reverse wrapping 2liter bottle cordage. He even gave Creek credit for writing about 2 liter bottle cordage in his book "survival hacks".

Great stuff, Creek! It's so much easier to understand in a video-just as with knot tying too. I started with the toilet paper, and it worked a treat! Hands were tired when done, but at least now I know how. It IS amazing how strong it is for toilet paper rope! Thank you!

I had been reverse wrapping straw wrappers since childhood without really thinking about it or realizing it. Crazy.

This is a great tutorial Creek, I worked in the Prison environment for several years and saw many times the "prison rope" and we even had inmates from time to time commit suicide with the rope they made. This might sound silly or funny but whenever we noticed a sudden increase in the amount of toilet paper going to a particular "dorm" or cell block, we began to suspect something was amiss. Invariably we would find evidence of prison rope being made. In the cells where individuals were and we would notice a perpetual need for toilet paper we would move the inmates to isolation (only long enough for us to thoroughly shake down or inspect their cell to make sure they weren't contemplating suicide or an escape. The inmates would use an entire fresh roll of toilet paper for one strand of their rope and after each strand was made they then did the double reverse method and could produce a rope strong enough to bind people or to climb on.
Thank you for doing these, I have learned much from you and look forward to learning more against the day when, it goes from IF/when and becomes the Now

As always, excellent job in explaining how it's done Creek. I learned reverse wrap a few years ago but it took about 8 different videos because nobody out there takes the time to explain it as clearly as you do.

I absolutely love this! Super fun and informative video Creek! Thank you for giving me practical practice skills to learn while I'm ....waiting. I used to make stuff our of my straw papers but, now I will hopefully remember to practice this! BTW...I find plastic to be a very strong material as well. I often make 'plarn' which is plastic yarn.

Very Useful Video!!! I will never look at drinking straw wrappers the same way, or my time on the toilet for that matter, either

great video Creek! You had a moment talking about being on the toilet when you just looked up at the camera. your face said it all! I laughed out loud.
Any particular recommendation on how to tie off the rope at the end?

This is the first survival skill video for making reverse cordage I have watched and learned. In an email it said to watch it when I was in the bathroom on the thrown. Come to find out...toilet paper is very strong after doing this. Haha. 😂😂

Another thing you can do is when you have about an inch done lay it on your thigh and roll it between your leg and hand. It will roll both sides and twist it at the same time.

Practice reverse wrapping toilet paper while sitting? not in 2020. This stuff is as rare as gold in some places nowadays. Reverse wrap it only if you can store it and unwrap and use it just fine later. Still, I'm gonna try it anyways just to see. 6:46 lol!!! 7:27 so true. Is now.
