Making a Leather Tally Book Cover

- In this project video, we are using the acrylic templates from our friends at Maker's Leather Supply to make a leather tally book cover.
This is a great project for beginners as well as a profitable item for any shop that customers like.
Below are links to the companion tooling pattern pack that we created for this project. This is an accessory to the templates from Maker's Leather Supply and DOES NOT CONTAIN the patterns for all the pieces of the project. There are only tooling patterns in this pattern pack. It is a large format print so purchase the printed version if you are in the United States. The digital version will have to be printed at a print shop.

that's beautiful
amazing knife skills
I just love this channel! Looking forward to the upcoming dye application/combinations video mentioned. Currently working on some checkbook covers from your pack and learning something different everyday!
You, sir, are an artist! I've watched several of your videos, and your tooling skills are amazing!
Excellent!!
Love it...❤❤
Love the tooling! How are you determining the spacing/layout of the diamond stamp?
Digital patterns that are large format (hopefully pdf) you can open in Adobe. When you go to print properties you select poster and it will print out in several pages that you just need to line up and connect. It's a pain in the a**, so I only do it once. Then I'll trace and transfer everything to 8x11 so I can put it in the file cabinet with all the other patterns. If they are still to larger to put on 8x11, I'll just fold them up and put into file
Bought some downloadable patterns, sorry to say very disapointed with them. For what I paid I thought I would get some patterns that were perhaps generated using a computer and not hand drawn. The measurements are off and the penmanship is semi readable at best. Did not expect this from such an accomplised leather crafter.
