I actually started this months ago but dropped it cuz I couldn’t figure out what else to do with it since I love All Stars as is, but after seeing FriedFrick’s vocal retake, I was inspired to come back to it and finish it, and I’m very happy with the result, as always tho, feedback is appreciated! Not sure why but in this version, it feels a lot more like BF is winning and gets cheapshotted in the in as opposed to being on the back leg from the start
Late ass reply but wanted to share my thoughts on this cuz ur not wrong technically lol. I did try and format it like, he’s very distraught and struggling to stay on key and panicking/being overpowered during the start, but after the solo, he regains his ability to sing and is fighting for his life, and actually matching/one-upping Ultra M, and i kinda wanted to almost make it feel like it was setting up for a good ending, and then have it be wrenched away with the sudden jab. I am a big fan of the bad ending lol
i love the little touch you did at the end with BF's vocals how they get messed up as he basically gets jabbed in the heart, it was something i felt was kinda missing in the original, also i cannot unhear bf basically like saying "AH" in a painful sort of way and why do i now want an FLP of this?

Honestly I wouldn’t mind a big FLP or adding a midi for it as well for that matter as long as we get it lol also I know some people might not be able to open the FLP as well which is why I said maybe to add in a midi as well

I really like this! Any retake of the original vocals makes me immediately love it. My only thing is that you can't always tell what leitmotif or notes is being sung per mimic. Which isn't a bad thing! That's just something I prefer. (But also you kept the Mr. V part near exactly the same, which is the best one of the first half of Act 4, so kudos to you)
Now that you mention it, the majority of act 4 vocal retakes and remixes I heard almost always kept the Mr. V part intact or at least change it slightly
@@mobsquad6295 The only one I've heard it not very identical is actually FriedFrick's version, which is the only imperfect part. Because Mr. V is perfect as he is. :)
Surprised it took me this long to get to this retake since im such a sucker for act 4 of this song, but man im genuinely so impressed 😭 the impression's genuinely sound SO on point and so well mixed and tuned, that's usually the one complaint i have with these retake's but you NAILED the vocals, impressions, ultra M and boyfriend, its so impressive how everything just sounds so RIGHT. listening to the isolated vocals on their own was a treat in itself, makes me wish the vocals were louder so the small details of the vocals were hearable with the instrumental but how it is now is perfect anyway so not complaining. definitely my favorite act 4 retake, the vocals were just nailed SO well, genuinely a wonderful job.
When listening to the isolated mimics, during omega's part, i could hear Y0SH (i think that's their name. I forgot) in it aswell. And i think LG and W4R were also in there. And for the first bit of Coronation Peach's bit, i could hear OGN Mario.

BRO THE VOCALS WERE PRODUCED BY A FUCKING MASTERMIND!!! Also if you dont mind me asking How did you animate the static in the act 2 flashback, And turn the entire background grayscale and Red?
@@UI_James1 thank you! I don’t mind at all, the static is an effect by default in Z games visual editor which is a plug-in in FL Studio, and the greyscale was just muting the colors and the red was just a color filter! The entire visualizer was made within Z games editor

This is one of the COOLEST takes Ive ever heard from it, although I have one question, In the sections where Ultra M mimics characters, do all of the sections have leitmotifs to their original songs? Cuz I can hear obvious leitmotifs but some sound like its their own melody, just a curious questionn

yeah LG, W4R, and Y0SH are all in there also GX is in there at one point, and OGN Mario and GaloomBF are both in there on BF's side
