The Warning - Crimson Queen / Reaction

A curious thing is the fact that, a few minutes after I finish making this reaction. They published the live version of HYCAD. Which further accentuated my opinion about the quality of the first version.
The sound we hear in my video is made up of 2 tracks.
1 track - Dany's voice, from the show.
2 track - Album sound, without vocals.
This way, I was able to include the other instruments (such as the mandolin) that they used in the production of the song.
Una cosa curiosa es el hecho de que, a los pocos minutos de que termino de hacer esta reacción. Publicaron la versión en vivo de HYCAD. Lo que acentuó aún más mi opinión sobre la calidad de la primera versión.
El sonido que escuchamos en mi video se compone de 2 pistas.
1 pista - Voz de Dany, del espectáculo.
2 pistas - Sonido de álbum, sin voces.
De esta forma, logre incluir los demás instrumentos (como el mandolin) que usaron en la producción de la cancion.

Dany has said that she works very hard to portray the lyrics of the songs. I think she is one of the best at doing that. In this performance, you don't just hear her, you see her and can feel the struggle the Queen is going through.

this song, *Crimson Queen* , from this Lunario concert gives me endless chills and goosebumps on top of goosebumps...
it is another in a short line of songs written by Dany... it was a pet project she started to help her learn more about composing, recording, and producing...
when heard while watching the full concert with the lights down, surround sound turned up, and on the big screen... yeah... those chills are even stronger and Ale's bass booming out and shaking the entire room _really_ drives the emotions hard 😹

@@TNRSound yep! they also talk about it in their vlog #23, IIRC... 23, 25, and 26 are about how they created the songs and the album... they skipped one because it is still private and only for their Patreons but hopefully it'll be made public at some point...
for those who do not know, these vlogs are available on their official YT channel... i'm fairly sure i have these vlog numbers correct...

their lives sound better than any of their produced albums. Keep Me Fed is the 2nd of a 5 album deal and i feel DPA used this to include more of what the label wants and a chance to experiment with new stuff. HYCAD is killer live and they just released it from the Pepsi center

To address your opening comment… they just dropped the pro shot live version of HYCAD from the Pepsi show. It is fucking phenomenal! I don’t understand what they are aiming for in the studio if their live stuff is going to be gloriously stripped down and raw. THAT is the version I want to play on Spotify and other platforms. But I’m an old fart so…

en la reciente entrevista que dío Dany , dijo que ellas grabaron todo en Monterrey y el productor la terminó en los Ángeles así que básicamente ellas poco pudieron hacer al respecto.
espero y con este video que apenas salió en vivo de HCYD lo analicen mejor y decidan quitar tantos filtros a esa canción y además por lo que se también es el productor del disco

Definitivamente estoy de acuerdo contigo, la primera versión de HYCAD es la mejor, la segunda suena sobreproducida, en mi opinión perdió fuerza sobretodo vocalmente ("taparon" la voz de Dany en el clímax de la canción, eso es un terrible error) aún asi, que bueno que existan ambas versiones para que cada quien las disfrute, saludos mi amigo y larga vida a The Warning!

Paso lo mismo en Martirio en El solo de Dani Al final de la cancion. En vivo resalta mas la guitarra y en El album no sobresale tanto como deberia de ser Creo yo. Quizas Este equivocado.
