This song explains the emotions of a soldier's wife who cherishes the memories with her beloved Husband. The Memories include the initiation of the relationship to the funs and laughs they spent together. She awaits his home coming by remembering similar events. The time he waved goodbye to her heading to the war, was the last time she saw him. Unfortunately, in the end all she's left with is his memories as she gets the news of the Soldier Husband killed during the war.
