Great content to enhance my knowledge! To make your channel better, you can include real life news on cyber attack. For example, regarding the Availability, New Bedford city recently suffered a cyber attack that a hiker (hikers) encrypted government files and this news made my impression on "Availability" pretty strong.
Been a fan for a while, and I'm finally using some of your videos to brush up before a test. You said that leaking card info would result in some HIPPA fines, but wouldn't PCI DSS be the main violations, since HIPPA only would fall in certain categories?
Bro I am civil enginee. I want to learn cyber security for work with agencies and police and so can you tell where I started from learning and what I learn and how much time required and I have no it back ground but I am gamers that why I am know little bit basic fundamental please help
I recommend getting a degree in anything related to I.T. - my three common recommendations are computer science, cybersecurity, and computer information systems

Hi! Should I enroll into a general bachelor of IT degree with major units being focused on my interest - cyber security. Or should I enroll into a bachelor of cyber security focused degree? What would be the difference in terms of employment opportunities and equipping me with cs specific skills that employers look out for? For example, if I had a general IT degree would i be able to land more general IT job opportunities? In comparison to a bachelor of cyber security, would I still be able to do that? Since core concepts of IT would’ve been covered the first year or two? I’m just worried I cannot get into the security field right after I graduate and want to make sure I would still be equipped with skills to land general IT roles even if I came out with a degree in cyber security. Also, would cyber security employers prefer someone who had a general IT degree with major units on cyber security, or a focused cyber security program. Or does it not make a difference? I appreciate your videos and blog posts. They are extremely helpful! Thank you!
cyber is just a fancy word for IT. Straight from my school's IT department chair. We have a cybersecurity degree here, but it is more of a CS degree. Whereas the IT degree focuses more on computer concepts (OS, database, security, cloud, etc). So, it depends on what you want to do. Software? go CS/Cybersecurity. Everything else? go IT/CIS. IT will still cover programming though, too. Don't get wrapped up in which degree employers prefer. They prefer you understand the necessary concepts, that is all. Whichever degree will provide you that foundation, do that.
Hi grant :) Lower the volume for the music a little more while you're speaking or raise the volume on your voice, AWESOME VID!! :)
