I bought the Tenyo version of this nearly forty years ago and still have it. The Tenyo version uses a shell pencil with holes in the middle which fits over a real pencil. The shell and pencil are inserted into the cross and then through misdirection, you secretly pull the pencil down out of the shell slightly so you are then able to shove the other pencil through the holes in the shell. I hope that is helpful. It's a little difficult to explain in just words. Your version with the magnets, though, is very ingenious. Good job.

There is a new 4d Cross tenyo made; Does it use the same trick?
Amazing trick. Very nice! I like the glitter paper you use for all your craftings.
Makes the thumbnail look better
Good one. I like your passion and love for what you do.
Brilliant bit of engineering. Thank you.
It's amazing what you can do with some cardboard and magnets.
Very Good👍🏼
You can use a drill

Tight squeeze?
Regardless, well done. Keep it up.
Tight tolerance. :)
Tolerance........ that's the word I was looking for. At my age the right words come into your brain but you go to speak them and they just disappear.
Tenyo put out the same illusion. Now I gotta figure out where in the transcript the tutorial is.
I hope you can explain the trick tv card frame
That's a difficult one to make but I'll give it some thought so maybe later
was the word 'snug'?
It wasn't but that would have been better than my brain freeze
@@letsmakemagic8233 close, precise, near, clearance tolerance lol
How about tight tolerance.
That was the word I was looking for@@binnsbrian
@@letsmakemagic8233 Great trick! I believe @binnsbrian is right he said tolerance a more common word would or could be clearance! Peace to you!
