Will you do a "Tones for Online Usage" video for this siren and the Touchmaster Delta in the past? I don't know how your channel isn't larger than it is, your reviews are amazing!
Can we get more omega in the hanger? I would like a video with each tone playing for a while. Specifically the Hilo, the clean version of the hilo not the ultra hilo. And then a sweep with the horn and regular hilo in it
@@allintodrumsandguns One of the ambulance companies back in the 80s had a 200 watt dual tone 480k that ran out of dual speakers . You could hear it coming all over town and then some at night ! But I worked for the other company that had been around for 12 years prior and was the first established ambulance service in the area after the funeral homes stopped doing ambulance calls . We were nothing fancy , wore your basic law enforcement style uniforms ( light blue shirts and dark blue trousers with black boots during the winter and shoes in the summer ) and had no paramedics at the time . We had a few Advanced EMTs or " wanna be paramedics " that were trained to start i.v.s , insert Esophageal Airways , and use the PASG ( Pneumatic Anti Shock Garment , which is a thing of the past ) . We had no trauma center , no advanced medical helicopter , 911 did not exist in our area until 1986 . As far as sirens , we used a dual combination of 100 watt Federal , North American , and SVP , except for our 1968 Pontiac Ambulance Hearse combination wagon that we used just for show that had a Federal Signal Model 28 mechanical .
@@derrickw3021 Oh jeez, you know that you were definitely working EMS or ER back in the day if MAST trousers were still being used! My mum worked Emerg from the mid 70s to the mid 90s and said that PASG/MAST trousers were useless! She said that they were a pain in the ass to put on the pt and were useless. Also said that it was the kiss of death putting them on a pt with thoracic trauma. The nurses and paramedics couldn't stand the things and were glad to see them go! I worked the same Emerg from 2002-2010 first as a housekeeper and then as an aide when I was in school. I remember us finding an old set ratted away somewhere. I knew what they were and thought that they were kinda neat. Our Charge Nurse on duty was an older veteran nurse told us to pitch them, adding that she hoped that she'd never had to see a pair again!
@@BumberenzoThePumperTruck I’m not quite sure I understand what you mean by “reuse”, but as long as you don’t claim the audio as your own, I’m fine with that.
I love the sound with the deleted air horn! Mostly with the ultra Hilo.
Pimpala is the reason i like it with out the horn lo
Love the way the hilo sounds here!!!
I've used this siren in a game once. Some dude called it a TouchMaster Delta. One amazing siren indeed.
b Blakethewolfgamer those two are different sirens
@@BobbyBoomstar I know. I was saying someone labeled it as a TouchMaster Delta and not a Federal Signal Omega 90
b Blakethewolfgamer oh lol.
I can see why tho xD It's very similar on a couple of these tones, but not exactly alike.
I'll never forget that yelp to the hi-lo, best part in my opinion.
I love you so much for this !
You’re welcome!
Baker you're a big fan of the omega 90 huh? Epic
@@supertrinigamer I own one lol
I’d absolutely love to get my hands on one of those. Such a cool siren.
The sweep tone is my favorite for the pinball sound
Ah yes, the iconic siren of the early 2000's LAPD.
Omega 90s sound so beautiful
I have no words to describe that sound😍😍❤❤

+1 for this, I tried making a siren with this but for the life of me I can't make it too loud without peaking sadly. Great video for the demo though !
Not a fan of the tones, they just sound more appropriate for electronic music - not sirens - but wow they’re incredibly unique!
Thanks for showcasing

Does it come with 200 watts & dual tone?
You’ll need a second amplifier for dual tone. But you can hook up a second speaker with one or two amps for 200 watts.
