Such an elegant and natural attacking left handed batsman...... technically very sound..... His cover drives, straight drives treat to watch... sad that he was in and out of national squad not the regular member of the squad..... Enjoyed his batting than anyone's else❤ .....I wish Vinod sir a good Health...,.May God Bless him and his family 🙏🌷
Kambli was great to watch in full flow, toast of Bombay's rich cricketing legacy. Had the talent to reach greatness, but sadly, things fell apart, and he is now a broken man who could have achieved so much. Failed marriages destroyed his career. Lost his family and grounding due to his marriages outside of his background. Couldn't maintain his flashy lifestyle due to being out of work. Thanks for watching and your comments on Vinod Ganpatrao Kambli.
Last 10 test innings average 22.38 Last 51 odi average 23.88 at 71 st rate And you blame politics??? If kambli was retained blocking the international début of dravid, ganguly, laxman, the it should be called politics!!! You don't need to be cricket expert to think twice to cut kambli from the team with these stats
A reputed player from Mumbai of his talent would not have politics come in the way. He has to blame himself for the most part and some bad injuries at the wrong time.
Aaj bhi main khelte hue dekhna chahta hun is pratibhashali cricketer ko Dil se dhanyvad jitna aapko nahin khulata hai utna mere ko khalta hai aapka cricket chhudaane walon
He twisted his ankle while fielding in an ODI versus Zimbabwe. Made another comeback again after that as well, but by then there were more competitors for the slot.
Kambli looked good when he batted, but his technique was vulnerable. He needed luck to play his strokes, and yeah his strokes looked much better than Tendulkar, Jadeja, and Azharuddin combined. But international cricket is a wicked arena, bowlers bisect batsmen's techniques and Kambli was found wanting in footwork and quality pace bowling. He wasn't as good as Tendulkar, if he was he would have had a longer career.
He paid the price of telling truth that semifinal between India and Srilanka of 1996 world cup was fixed. The statement proved right when Azharuddin and Jadeja found involved in match fixing in 1999.

He ruined his carrier by himself
more kambli more likes
True, Tendulkar's old buddy has a separate fan base altogether.
Best vinod sir La Ra Sachin से बेस्ट
stylish left hander
Thanks for your interest
48 off 33 is better than many IPL strike rates even now.
I think so V.K's Domestic records are impressive one.

Thanks for being a Vinod Kambli fan.
Thanks for your comments.
Inconsistent version of Brian Lara but when he was in form he was very stylish and graceful batsman
His shots were great to watch, but he had chinks in his technique which was well uncovered by the Caribbean quickies in 1994.
Kambli ❤
Kambli was peaking again just then that leg injury on the ground destroyed his career
He twisted his ankle while fielding in an ODI versus Zimbabwe.
Made another comeback again after that as well, but by then there were more competitors for the slot.
@@Cricketing_Nostalgia He was in PRIME FORM at that time
Scored heavily in Domestic too
He was far better than sachin
What a waste of talent! I've never seen any left handed batsman play straight drive as good as Vinod Kambli.
He had the talent, but he wasted it on girls, Booze, and cheap antics.
@@Cricketing_Nostalgia Absolutely spotted on.
He was best batsman than Sachin but he ruined his career

You have a point, but Kambli has major flaws in his technique that damaged his path to glory.
Yes brother you are correct
