He's back! From the filmmakers that brought you Chucky comes the terrifying return of the pint-sized doll possessed by the spirit of a notorious serial killer. When a mysterious package arrives at the house of Nica (Fiona Dourif, True Blood), she doesn't give it much thought. Why did Chucky have different Good Guy face in Curse Of Chucky? Because Chucky being held by a kid in Curse Of Chucky is another reference to Andy holding Chucky in the Metro Goldwyn Mayer/United Artists Child's Play.
Because Chucky used latex to cover up his face so people think he's an average doll. That's why Barb ripped some latex off of his face.

I dunno. The originals are always the best. Hell, look what happened when they tried out a new Freddy Krueger. It flopped, and was one of the worst remakes of all time. So yeah. I can believe it not being that scary.
Frisk The Fabulous we need new, Freddy kreuger, jason voorhees, leatherface, chucky, Michael myers Remkes done by good directors i miss the old feeling of a good slasher movie i don't understand they put all this time and work and effects and such in these movies because they want to make it different its one of those things that should stay the same i could watch 100's of movies if it are just these characters killing people if it has that horrorish feeling in it and the old school elements from the movie it wont Get repetitive for me just sucks they stopped making them :/
Personally, I think they need to leave Freddy alone. Nobody could EVER pull off Freddy's persona like Robert Englund. It's just not physically possible. All the others, I agree, but the original Nightmare On Elm Street just can't be topped or done any better than it already has been. Robert Englund played him far too perfectly for anyone to ever do it better.
And believe me when I say that I wish it could be so, because I would LOVE to see the franchise brought back with some awesome new nightmares, but sadly, there's just no way they could ever make anything that could come close to being as epic as the originals, and it saddens me.
