Olivia oh wow, thanks for the tip. I'll have to try to hunt that down. I only have the Linden Place EP that was on Apple Music. I just figured that was all that existed in an official capacity. I'm kind of out of the loop when it comes to finding what music they had available.
Basically, I only know of the EP on iTunes, I know of a bunch of songs I've found scattered on UA-cam. So I'll have to try to hunt down that EP.

the early 2010s is the year of the hipsters indeed. i discovered poppy early (she is also from the hipster scene along with HeyHiHello and meekakitty). sometimes i wish mars argo is the one i discovered early instead of poppy.

She broke up titanic sinclaire and then it ended. More to the reason why you shouldnt date business partners
incorrect. Her and Titanic were high school sweethearts who created Mars Argo together. Then they had a brutal breakup and she has posted on her tumblr that she had PTSD from the whole relationship. Poppy simply replaced Mars, in a way it works because of the whole "pop stars are disposable and can be easily replaced" thing Titanic seems to be saying with his work. However like most great artists and bands, I love Mars Argo so much more when they were just starting, even up to their newer projects as you could tell Mars (ie Brittany) was her own person, even when in Character and a better singer than Poppy in my opinion. I am not 100% sure, someone please correct me if this is wrong, but I believe that they co-wrote their work, which is what made it so good. Then I think the fame kinda got to Titanic's head, he became really controlling with somewhat of a god complex so Brittany ran out and he deleted pretty much all their content and replaces her with That Poppy, even though their general look is different, he has copied mars argo content and repeated it in her videos. Brittany could have been the next Gwen Stefani, I think, suffering with PTSD is horrible in my experience. it makes it hard, but I am really hoping she makes a solo comeback with the grunge/alt thing she has going and just allows her star to shine. What I feel is the saddest thing about Poppy is she is forced to delete all her previous online materiel in order to work with titanic and she cant even give an interview out of character. That Poppy really is just a Titanic Sinclair puppet. It's sad as I think she enjoyed the whole project at first, but recently rumors stirred in how she was feeling so trapped in the whole thing. I wonder who she was pre poppy.

You can't get PTSD from being in a relationship with someone... particularly if the relationship was consensual... the fact that Mars thinks she got PTSD from being in a relationship shows that her mindset going into the relationship was to control Titanic. The only possible way she could have gotten PTSD is if she expected to be able to control and manipulate him but he wouldn't allow that so what does that tell you?

She just wanted to do it professional, like just singing. But Titanic became very aggressive and he was very sad that she doesn't love him anymore. Then, Titanic broke into her house and after that, she wanted to leave the band and disappeared.... but if you want more information take a look at her lawsuit

The title of the song is referring to a joint that has been laced with a drug called PCP. From the National Institutes of Health, "The effects include hallucinations, disorientation, impaired coordination, paranoia, sexual disinhibition, and visual disturbances."
The feelings of disorientation, or brain fog, is being used as a metaphor in this song. The line "I don't even remember my name," May be a reference to these effects. Also, "I can see your smile from a mile away," is likened to a hallucination here.

Well, from what I've read, Titanic wrote all her songs and produced them and stuff. So when they broke up, she stopped putting out music because he was behind half of the work. It's a shame, they are great together and she has a good voice.
