I know it wasn't a win, but it'd be cool to have Gwin go through the Leogang run where he lost the back tire. That run single-handedly cemented the DT471 rim as legendary. It also showed just how good a rider Gwin is, to be able to navigate the entire course without going down once.
Damn I was there that day. Me and my buddy caught you outside the lodge and you autographed my beer cooler. Your mechanic was super cool too and showed us your bike.
Absolutely enjoying the race analysis videos. Especially know that the ground has been covered in snow…But just a week till opening day of ski season at Big Sky.
I was there,,,, and it was an insane race, your race run was so epic, I remember at your finish line anyone that was there was jumping and screaming including the french and the brits fans
I was there and got pretty drunk, after his run I found this hidden mens room and had to piss so bad, I am standing there taking a leak and Aaron walks in and is at the urinal next to me I said "I have a rule about not talking to people in these situations but I have to say that was amazing" he said "no worries, thanks" we washed our hands and walked out and I said is it ok to do the selfie now? he said absolutely. Such a nice and humble guy. I talked about how I drank too much and can't stop pissing and he said me too, except he was drinking a lot of water to make sure he could pee for to the UCI piss test. I said mine was all IPA's. Very personable and down to earth especially for where he was at that point.

Amazing race all around. Such a shame that Windham have let that trail go to waste (and in general fumbled the ball on their bike park)...
