I present to you the elevators from the highest building in the UK and Europeian Union itself. Second highest building in Europe. Reaching to public up to 72floor, but apprarently, they are 87 floors itself. The speed of the elevator is 6/m and it has double-deck lifts.
I went there in 2014. My ears popped due to the rapid change in height. Fantastic views.
Very glad I found this video. I just booked an order for a Kone NMonospace and already Other-brand guys were feeding me with all sorts of negativity about Kone. If it's in the Shards, then I don't see myself getting a bad deal with Kone myself.

This is a late reply, but this is interesting :) may I ask where the lift (which is presumably installed by now :D) is located - and also what factor(s) made the decision to go with an N Monospace? Thanks!

These lifts NEVER break down. These get maintained 24/7

Nice video. The main lifts are probably Kone Minispaces and the small one at the top is a regular MonoSpace
The usual symbols at the bottom-right is a dead giveaway it's a Kone...I wonder why two (or three) separate elevators are needed to go to the observatory.

Why is the voice saying about when the lift is going up and down, when the doors are opening and closing and what floor you're on?
For disabled people.
They are Kone Alta elevators as they are double deck elevators. MiniSpace does not use double deck elevators.
The fast elevators standing up, on tiptoe, do as much effects, perhaps more, than the roller coaster or attractions, whose effects are reduced by the sitting position (in Winter Wonderland in Heid Park or in Thorpe Park). Why do everyone (including children) scream and have fun in a small carousel, and remain unruffled and totally indifferent in the fast lifts, and do not like me, like to have amazing to go up and down many times for the sensations ???
Honestly, I rather push the buttons myself, just a personal preference

If you meant 'tallest' as opposed to 'highest' you should have said so. The Shard is not even the highest building in the UK, its top is only a little over 300 metres above sea level. The Charles Inglis Clark Memorial Hut (known as the CIC Hut), a private mountain hut is located at 680 metres above sea level and is used as a base for the many climbing routes on the north face of Ben Nevis. I wouldn't be surprised if there were buildings in the UK even higher than the CIC Hut.

Even if you write this phrase in google, it will direct you information about the shard. But in my option both ways are correct, so if it satisfy you tallest, then i will edit the title :). Peace

It's worth pointing out that 1 to 33 are double deckers. 33 to 68 is single cabin

But highest building in Europe is Federation Tower in Moscow. Also OKO Tower and Mercury City Tower are higher than Shard.

+Schnitz02 Yep Federation Tower West in Moscow has Thyssenkrupp DSC elevators (not TWIN). Federation Tower East has Thyssenkrupp DSC TWIN and Schindler 7000 elevators.

Because floor 72 is public viewing deck. Other floors are staff only
Many buildings do not have the 13th floor due to superstition.

lifts are made to be safety broken and a emergency stop is tested on all safety checks so no way that would happen...
ElevatorsinRussia that wouldn’t happen as these are highly maintained and engineers/workers have to safety break them to fix them. Uneducated.

Nice lifts, but just too bad that they use Dewhurst buttons. Not really a fan of LCD displays either.
