YG has the most brutal survival shows and for a reason. It's meant for trainees to be strong emotionally because like YHS would say, "The outside world is harsher than he is" and he's totally right on that.
Junghwan’s selection always makes me teary eyed. Everyone seemed to look down on him except for YG himself. YG picked/favored him from the beginning.

I still think to this day that Seunghoon could have had a bigger chance if he chose VOCAL. But, he also has a point in choosing dance.

As for the other trainees if they still in contact, YES! Friendship never ends after the show, we may not see it in front of camera but they're still in contact. Byunggon and Seunghun are very close with the boys and they do listen to Treasure songs even on their Vlive.
Keita is on another survival show again, MNET's BOYS PLANET. Rain company let go of their group Ciipher. The company is looking for another agency maybe to handle the group, but as of now their activities are on hold and that's why Keita is on MNET survival show.
Yeongyu already debuted with ATBO, he and Jeongwoo goes to the same school and are still good friends. They graduated from Senior High just this February with Flying colors.
Yoonbin is now known as BEN. He has a group OWAVE, they recently released their tracks and you can all watch it in their YT Channel Owave.
And with your question whether Teume are still following other YGTB, answer is YES. I can say Teume are still updated and are supporting them. We love our YGTB Babies and we all wishing them to debut or be successful in their own chosen career.
As for Yedam and Mashiho, we are all wishing them the best and hopefully see them on stage someday again. It's so sad but they know what's best for them. I personally hope that one day I can all see them again in one stage even if not as same group but a collab maybe. A girl can dream right?

I like Ciipher also, but it's been reported that they are being off loaded to another management company. Keita is on Boys Planet survival show right now, so Ciipher's future is super in the air I guess.
They do definitely keep in touch. Yoshi asked on a live stream for us to support Keita on Boys Planet. We have also seen former trainees attend Treasure concerts. Jihoon and Seunghoon are still close. Dohwan and Doyoung. Junghwan and Jongseob etc. no worries there.
Treasure break is needed. You have other groups you like reacting to as well, so they should get some attention too.

Junhyuk returned home to Canada after YGTB ended to start high school. He said in one of his freestyles that he won’t be returning to Korea. He’s just doing things on his own terms now.

CIX and Treasure especially Seunghun and Jihoon (they were called 2hooos) and Byounggon and Doyong are still staying very closed till these days.And also SH and BX went to Hyunsuk studio severe months ago as well.
Also Seunghun and Byounggon are still very close to Keita. Seunghun went to seokhwa’s graduation day and they appeared in the live radio show together in Dec 2020. Jihoon also just bought beef and clothes for Seunghun for his birthday last month. All in all, the Treasure and CIX especially team A members are still very close. 💙

After watching YGTB, honestly since then, I always have had a soft spot most especially for JEONGWOO, JAEHYUK and JUNGHWAN. Then, for JUNKYU, HYUNSUK and JIHOON after learning what and how they went through in Mix Nine. Maybe you could make another video reaction on their interview how they got into a 12-member group. So many people pronounce the word "debut" like "day-byuuT" and it's actually wrong... The "T" is silent in the word "debut" so it is actually "day-byuu". And "debuted" is "day-byuu-d". ^^

Seunghun cried so much because he disappointed of himself that he couldn’t fulfill his mother’s dream to become an idol. He just recently revealed on King of Masked Singer that during his 9 years of training he really wanted to quit so many times but he endured it because he wanted to make his mother’s and now his dream come true😭
The whole situation hits byounggon so hard too. As we all know that YG promised a debut to him and Hyunsuk and others during Mixnine but it was turned down. He mentioned in his Vlive a years after that he had to seek emotional support and mental care. He was quitting and had already gave up his dream😭
Seunghun was the one who asked him and begged him and encouraged him to debut with him after he signed a contract to debut in CIX with Bae Jinyoung . Byonggon didn’t even wanted to go to an audition but just accepted Seunghun invitation to come to c9 and see. I’m so grateful he didn’t give up his dream and agreed to debut with Seunghun 😭
There are many stories of these young lads, and lots of tears that sheds even after the show
Midam had to gave up his dream and his father let the the fans know before he went to military. He’s out soon I think. I hope he’s ok too
Yoonbin my fav, he released good music under his stage name Ben, Manly Boy but now is just debut as a member of 0Wave with his new name VIIN on Dec 2022.

And as I've been into YG trainees since then of course I do follow up with the girls too. But sadly some old period trainees all have left, if i need to suggest you one, maybe I'll suggest you Billlie (3L)! A former YG trainee for 10 years has debuted there (named Moon Sua). She was so popular before as she placed 4th in Unpretty Rapstar 2. Billlie's story line is really unique and their songs even b-sides are great so I hope you can try to check them out! AAAND! TREASURE's little sister will be coming soon! Will you check out on Babymonster too!?❤❤
I've seen all the hype coming out for Babymonster soooo maybe, we'll see haha. There's just soooo much to check out at any given moment 😅😅😭
After the final 7 was announced online, later on YG announced the MAGNUM team (Yoonbin, Mashiho. Doyoung, Jihoon, Yoshi, Asahi) They were supposed to be called Treasure 13 with 2 subunits. Yoonbin left then YG merged Treasure & Magnum into 1 group. That's when they debut as 12 with Boy. The rest is history.... :< anyways thanks for reacting in ygtb!!

I try to keep up with the trainees but tbh I'm not that involved. Like, I was there for everybody's debut (Ciipher, CIX, Diavo, Bugvel, Wei, P1H, ATBO, etc.) but tbh I don't keep up that much. Like some songs tho :p
The Cristobal video is a really good way to keep up cuz he always has verified info, but ofc the video being almost a year old means it once again needs to be updated. Like, Yeongue (now Yeongkyu) did debut in ATBO. Yoonbin's 0wave (pronounced young wave) is now a khiphop group, and Yunseo has also participated in "Jinxed at First". Ciipher is still a group, but considering they're under Rain company (and Keita participating in Boys Planet) makes fans think the group will soon change management, or prob disband :c
As of friendship, most of them are still really close. When promoting together, Keita always runs to say hi to jline. Keita is also really close to Byunggon and Seunghun. Yoshi is still best friends with Mahiro. Jeongwoo and Jeongkyu graduated together from high school in SOPA. Kotaro is still close to some jline members (specially showing support for Mashiho). I'm prob missing a lot, but yeah, we basically had happy ending for them all :)
Yeah, of all those groups I only know CIX and P1H (P1H I'm more familiar with than CIX, I love them so much!). This was before ever knowing they were a part of Treasure Box, of course. I might have to check out more of Yoobin's stuff though!
@@marcogennuso I think the magical thing of the rest of the trainees going to very diff paths/companies/etc its it gives us a lot of options to find something that fits us. For "kpop" I find CIX being the ones I like the most (compared to ciipher or P1H). For the ones that went to japan (Bugvel, Diavo), Diavo was my fav. The girls voices were amazing! Its a shame they're mia now. As for Yoonbin, he def gives the indie vibes, makes total sense for him to ditch a major big3 (YG ent) and focus on hiphop music with that "underground" feeling. Havent heard all of his work, but I've been enjoying it a lot so far. Hopefully u give em all a try and see if something catches ur eye/ears C:
