@@EDMTips Thanks for the great videos! Can you recommend a video that goes into how to use send/return channels or maybe do a video for that at some stage?
Hey everyone...thanks for watching! Let me know what you want me to cover in the comments below and don't forget to subscribe and click that notification bell 😎 👇
Avicii! :) Also was thinking if you could include stems in the project file? This would be helpful for us who don't use ableton and we can just build your free track up from stems! :) Thanks a lot for your work!
Class videos mate, Matador is my request. Also I have a question about LUFS: So basically my question is, when uploading to soundcloud and youtube do you actually stick to 14LUFS or do you go higher? Because Even at 14 LUFS my songs still sound quieter than others. Thanks.
I'm a new subscriber. I just found you last night while browsing UA-cam. I've been a Hip-Hop (Boom Bap) beat maker/producer/DJ since the mid 1980s but over the last 4 years or so, I have been spinning a lot of Tech House music. It's nice to learn how to produce something different from a genre that I have grown to love a lot over the last few years. Thanks so much for. your tutorials. I just finished your other video on Tech House production. Cheers!!!
@@EDMTips Why are you called "EDM" tips by the way? It kept me from watching your videos (small dislike for EDM...). Once I finally did watch them I saw it is much more than just EDM and I can learn a lot from you. Anyway, keep up the great work!
Hi man :-) I am totally new at making music.. Could you show that trick U use in the piano roll when you write chords in a scale (I think that is the righ term). Thanks for all the great videos
Man, you're everything I've been looking for in terms of tutorials for electronic music! Wish you all the best, subbed instantly when I found this video
Perhaps you've already done one, but would love to see a How to Make Chillstep track come together. Something along the lines of Blackmill or Mitis would be great.
Can you PLEASE made a video of Sebjak style??! It's like a afrohouse/tech house/professive. Like the track Viola or something! Thanks a lot for your job!!!
Mate, the insights you give to us for the whole process of producing are just so good! Makes things looking not that scary, confusing and complicated as I used to think and that everything is straight forward once you learn certain techniques. This is only my hobby and its not even for producing radio ready music but more of jamming and improvising techno, house music and may be some other abstract electronic music genres with few hardware syntsh, drum mahine and sequencer, but what you share is just so essential even for application like mine, because what you do is explains the core of the process. Ofcourse there are many other things for further polishing and you can't share all in a short video, but since I started watching your videos my music advanced so much ! I know making videos like this is time consuming and hope it pays back by giving awareness to your private courses, which may be one day if I have the chance I will book for one. Thank you for the work you put in ! P.S. I really want to hear the acid house/techno kind of style you personally would produce if you had an idea or just what you would pick as from an artists that make that type music... YOUR CHOICE - any. I dont have favourite artists I just love all kind of electronic music if it's well made.
I haven't got a single clue on how to make music but your videos have been helping me sleep (this wasn't meant as an insult 😂). I love your videos and music taste. Maybe do Mall Grab next?
Thank you for this very interesting tutorial. Replying to tour question about DC10... At the moment it's closed, like all the clubs in Ibiza (and Europe). But it's still the best club in Ibiza and Circoloco is still the best party in the World. ps. If I'm allowed to give you a 'tip' (to return of all of yours), I would tell you only this: don't ask it again... Every dj, producer, performer, promoter, agent, manager or even bartender of the world would find this question as astonishing as if somebody would ask you "Is there still a Queen in England?"
Hell yeah, really good and interesting as always. I've been wanting to use white noise more and the use of it in this is a good way to experiment. Thanks man! Would love to see some tech/trance stuff in the style of Spencer Brown or Ila Bluestone.
Could I make the clap cut through more by adding a return chain with a compressor into the drum rack, side-chaining it to the clap, and applying it to the other drums in the rack? I'd check for myself, but I'm on vacation right now..
Hey Will I’d like to know how you have set up your coloured Collections at the top of the Ableton browser and what they are. Do you have a video showing?
@@EDMTips ill be honest, just all hot since 82, personally i feel his productions are the most complex of any electronic DJ out there. the layers and sounds used, its a lot more complex than that of for example jamie Jones, so id definitely say if you could go more in depth of how HS82 achieves certain sounds, mixes, vocal distorting tips, filling out the bass etc
Not a big fan of the white noise open hh, coz it makes some of the hi mids a bit muddy. Felt a bit like offbeat sandpaper. Enjoyed the rest of the video, tho.
amazing channel.. i want to see more underground deep electronic music.. atmospheric.. like sebastian mullaert.. like claudio PRC, luigi tozzi... thanx
Would be great to show Command J to consolidate clip then click “loop” and drag out rather than duplicating parts again and again in turn keeping project file size down and much easier to arrange.
Mate, I learn so much from your amazing videos. You are a great teacher and I hope you will continue making these great content. You really helping me getting closer to the music I want to create and making me a better mixer. I would really love if you can explain how to get a sound like “Matt Sassari”. I t all sound so minimal but still interesting. I can get close to the sound, but I get stuck on the arrangement and keep it simple/minimal. Keep up this great video`s, it will be nice to hear from you!
@@EDMTips thanks for you reply mate. To be more specific: Honda and Le Funk sounds so awesome to me. If you can create a video for one of these tracks would be lovely ! Cheers and thanks again ! If I can support you in some way let me know👍
Good videos! You should make one about down tempo progressive, like Kermesse or detmolt. What also would be a nice one is hindu or arab deep (armen miran etc).
Awesome yet again. If I had a request it'd be creating a track in the style of oldschool ZHU tracks. Bit cheeky, but would love to see some serum/massive synth patches too! Great stuff regardless, cheers.
