Awesome video...looks like you had an amazing trip! I was also on Iona at the same time with my son and my mum for our first ever cruise, and it's great fun to watch someone else's experience. I think we must have been sitting a few tables away from you for the pop song bingo 😂
We also found the food in the Horizon buffet a bit limited, but we loved The Quays and The Olive Grove. Olden is absolutely stunning.. I had seen it lots in photos/videos, but in person it was mindblowing.

The quays was a great feature on the ship which I’ve not seen on any another cruise liner … my waist line isn’t thankful lol.

Another lovely vlog. I love seeing the waterfall might not have been huge but i bet it was amazing to see. The food looks amazing. Hope you managed to get back to that restaurant befire the end of your cruise. X
Aww thank you!! The scenery in Olden was beautiful but next time I would like to take a boat out to see all the waterfalls. We managed to go back the next day which is in tonight’s vlog xx

My wife & I are going on a Norwegian Fjords Cruise, in June 2024 on Holland America. Can’t wait the place your son was saying, is one of our stops. After watching several videos now from different, your all saying the Excursions are ex-endive, with what we’re seeing on our itinerary, I totally agree. When did you actually travel. Our next cruise, is August 2023, Italy, Croatia, around the Greek isles, Then Istanbul. Can’t wait. Watching videos like yours, give us our fix until it’s time to travel for us. I’m now a subscriber
Hi, Nice to meet you and welcome to the channel!! Wow two amazing holidays coming up, have an amazing time. Is this your first time cruising? Unfortunately the prices of excursions are expensive, especially when you have to pay for 4 tickets. On average for a family of four on the fjords cruise it was around £200 per trip, so this time we made use of the ports and next time we’ll do a few excursions 🙂
@@PritchLife Our next cruise is our 8th, good thing is we took out an all you can have package, which is a huge saver for us on both cruises, so can’t wait for that.

What a good idea buying a coat whilst you there. We are going to Fjords in May and also have a trip to Iceland in October, probably far better gear available in Norway for a better price.
The coats out there are amazing! I could’ve bought loads lol. Have an amazing time. I would love to visit Iceland 🇮🇸
Well been on iona twice just turnd up at pearl mdr gave cabin number escorted to table , super super super super super easy
Ahh amazing! I did see people who didn’t pre book and they were sat with others on a big table but on the formal night they were super busy and a few were turned away. Hope you had a great time on your cruise.

Thank you!! I got the coat in Stavanger. It was the shop next to Viking museum. The shop has lots of flags outside. You’ll see it straight away as it’s the first shop as you head into Stavanger 🙂

It was in Stavanger in the shop next to the Viking museum. It was a big white building with Norwegian flags outside. You’ll spot it straight away as they have lots of coats on rails outside. Have a fab trip!

Personally I think the ship is 2 big & the restaurant thing is a pain but easy to use. We were in an outside cabin which was lovely. Buffet dreadful & we always ate in restaurant. Enjoyed Limelight club but have to book before 5:47 departure (Gareth Gates). Overall enjoyed & reasonably priced.
I’m glad you enjoyed and you’re right it is reasonably priced. I wish I had booked the limelight club to try somewhere new but by the time I decided to book it was fully booked. I would definitely recommend an outside/balcony for a fjords cruise because the scenery is unbelievable!
