- If you have been following me on my reselling channel, I recently announced my plans of selling everything (including my house) and living/traveling in my new van! Here is a tour of my 2017 Azur Mercedes 3500 Sprinter Van!
Jeffrey, I’m not a regular commenter but I am a regular viewer. I hate to see all the Negative Nelly types here telling you what a mistake you’re making. I wish you all the best on this grand adventure. We should all be brave enough to go with our dreams. Those that think a house and a collection of flamingos is a perfect life have little adventure in their lives! Go for it! Have a great time and show us what you can! Yay!
I object to the term "negative Nelly" lol
Be Happy!!
@@nellstreasurebox😂 At least they didn’t say a “Karen”
@@nellstreasurebox no offense meant to you!!! 😊
Good for you! I love risk takers. And who says this will be forever.
What better time in your life for adventure.
Don’t forget first aid, medicine, sun screen, bug spray, zip lock bags. This is the Mom in me speaking.
HAVE FUN AND ENJOY. 🌞
Jeffrey i sure hope you do travel vlogs, you just cant disappear on us all.
Jeffrey, your van is stellar! So pretty! Use your empty suitcases to store extra clothes, coats, and off season gear so they won't be taking up space for no reason. I hope you will share some of your adventures with us! Stay safe in your travels🌍
Jeffery, I have been camping most of my life. My husband and I have spent living in our 19’ camper up to five months of the year. I have learned a few lessons that I would like to pass on. First, campers are great people and if you get in a bind, often someone will help you out. There are less expensive places to stay like the Corp of Engineers. We are members of Sam’s Club which offers slightly cheaper rates for its members. And they are across the country. It is a good idea when on the road to find a place for the night early in the day. In some states you can camp for free at rest areas. It is helpful to go to the welcome center as you enter a new state. You sounded so excited about all the storage you have. Trust me that you will find it isn’t enough! I try to take out anything I haven’t used and a lot of my dishes/pots etc have dual purposes. A cheap electric heater is a good idea. If you are in a colder climate, you may find that bubble wrap on the windows is a great although not pretty insulator. I love your new home, and I wish you much happiness on the road. Who knows-I might run into you at a campground.
6 years living in an RV as a travel nurse. Glad I did it...but never again.
Rest stops are not SAFE !!!!!!!
I agree get a small heater
We have never had a problem at rest stops in Texas and Ohio and we always stayed at rest stops that have a 24 hour service center. Always when we camp we check out our neighbors. Actually last winter we stayed at a run down campground outside of Little Rock. The owner gave us two spots we didn’t have to unhook as we were leaving the next morning to catch the solar eclipse. We encountered so many friendly people who live there year round as it is cheap and they don’t have much money. I do agree with you that I wouldn’t pull into just any rest stop. Always you have to be careful and we are careful and cautious in our city home too.
Jeffrey thank you for showing us your new home on wheels! So glad you are going to live your best life on the open road!! Happy traveling and be safe 🙏Looking forward to antiquing trips during your travels !! 🚐
OMG! This is my dream! I would love to have something just that size to travel. It is beautiful!
So , so beautiful your going to have a blast. Don’t forget to have a first aid kit , very important.
Yes, I thought the same thing.. first aid kit.
Really nice Jeffrey! Will miss your vintage vlogs every week.
Sometimes people who don’t have family, especially children and grandchildren, don’t understand how it’s possible! When nothing is holding you, I guess you can do whatever your heart desires 🤗. Personally, could never be too far from my children and grandkids, but not judging anyone else.
Very nice! Have fun!
Fun times ahead 😊
What a great van!!!!!
Very very nice, will definitely be fun exploring anywhere your heart desires. Best of luck and good travels. Looking forward to see your adventure stories

Awesome. Congratulations and great times ahead.
Congratulations 🎉❤😊 I'm so happy for you!! I'm planning the same too ❤
Nice rig! We use baskets in our RV compartments to keep the stuff from sliding all over.
Wow congrats that’s great
Happy trails to you!
Very nice !!
We love our travel van! It’s so great to use for travel. Spent 48 days going to Alaska in it. My fav place to sleep. So cozy. Happy for you. You’ll love it! Looking forward to your videos!!!
Wonderful set up! You will be very comfortable in the Azur. Looking forward to your travel vlogs!
Good luck !!
Good for you and best wishes on the exciting adventure!

how exciting! life of adventure awaits - or rather, you're living it now! all the best and keep us updated!
Enjoy your new life.
So exciting!!! You are so smart in doing this while you are young!!
I just spent twelve days camping and I missed my home. I camp with hubby, grand child, and dogs. Grammy needs to get away from the chaos sometimes. I wish you safe and happy travels. Lots of new adventures!!! If there is a hurricane you can just drive away to safety. Can't do that with a house, lol😄
I am excited and a bit envious. I'd love to live the van life. Perhaps in my retirement.
Best of luck!
I hope you have safe travels and not much mechanical problems along the way 😊
Sprinter van envy❣️
Very cool that you can totally change your journey in life. Good luck, I will miss the Friday sales.
How exciting to go on a new adventure. Happy traveling❤
Your van is the boom ❤
YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Also don’t forget to stop for ice cream 🍦 🤣😂
I love your new home so excited for you on your néw adventures 🦋🦩🦋🦩
Love it
Jeffrey you picked a great van. I hope it suits your new needs.
Good luck and happy travels.!
He just woke up one day n said I'm gonna live in a van n travel crazy😮
This is going to be FUN! Can’t wait for your first adventure on the road! Congratulations Jeffrey. I’m so excited for you Mr.
Thanks for the van tour. I am curious how you're going to keep afloat if you're not really reselling or have a job anytime soon. And Mercedes are EXTREMELY expensive to maintain, not to mention repairs. I'm sure you've thought about all that. It would give me anxiety. 😆
Did he say he wasn't going to be rrselling?? I just saw he went to 2 amazing Estate sales .. And he bought a lot!!
Nice!
You could take a fold up chair to sit outside if you don't have one. You could get the shelf risers I think they are called so items can sit below & then up on the shelf fill a basket or bin with items to sit on shelf. I am so happy for you taking a new adventure in your life. There should be an online group you join for people who also travel this way might have lots of good tips or can tell you good places to stay. So excited to see your adventures!!!
I saw a folding chair in the trunk area, behind the container with the windex.
If I was his age I would do it too.
Go for it👍
Nice rig ... vans have really
improved. You've got a little
room for storing merch ... room for a folding table or two & chairs? Look forward to your vlogs ... maybe you'll even make it out to the west coast! Best as always, Rich (& Brenda) 😊😊
Wow I love that you go for it with whatever you do. I really admire that and am learning to do that more in my life as well. Life is too short to be squandered. I think it's a great idea to anchor your stuff down so you can drive without worry. I noticed the coffee candy Kopiko- I love those! My husband is Thai and we've always picked them up in Thailand(I think they are available in the asian grocery now). Enjoy the ride both of you. I can't wait to see what else you do :)
Please stay safe on the road.
What an adventure! If you make it up to Oregon and need a place to park - we'd be glad to host you.
Your Sprinter is very nice. When shopping and having quick live sales from the road, you could occasionally use the regular bed as storage when you're shopping. (That is, if the bench bed is comfortable enough!)
When going state to state you could shop with a local subscriber. They could be a good source for finding shops and places to park for the night. Maybe?
Nice van. 😃 What an adventure. 👍🏻😁
I'm so happy to see you living your life on your terms. As always, please be safe and know that I look forward to seeing the many adventures you are sure to have in your new house on wheels!
💥WOW💥. AWESOME VAN...."2017" BENZ 💥WOW💥. Have a BLAST out there in the WILD💕
Have great adventures
I love it
I enjoyed the video, thank you!!
Good luck Jeffrey, not only on your new journey in life but also at your estate sale! Please tell Mark good luck too as he starts his new job and new state to live in. Tell him to take lots of warm clothes! ❤️
I'm excited for you. You do you and ignore the negative comments.
At 47, my kids were off to college, I sold my home and lived in a transitional van, spent three years traveling, it was absolutely amazing! I’m so happy for you! I would use stackable totes in your cabinets it’s easier to pull them down then dig around on top. Really consider the weight of items your adding, it makes a huge difference in fuel costs. And a travel air compressor is a must. Bear spray & baseball bat for piece of mind. Happy travels! 🎉
We should live like it's our last day. No regrets. Love to you Jeffrey!
I hope you keep a few flamingos. At least a yard stake you can plant each time you stop to camp. Instant Home!
haha that would be fun to see! A "calling card" of sorts
You’re nuts for doing this!
Eeeek!! Living vicariously through you, Jeffrey! So excited for your new adventures!
That’s like the ultimate clubhouse! I wish you had a dog to travel with. Not a new puppy but an older housebroken chill one. 🦮 I can’t wait to see your vlogs!! ❤️🐩
Nice
Some of the RV van owners I’ve seen on UA-cam get soft baskets at Target they fit in those upper cupboards very well and you can stack stuff up in them and since they’re soft cloth woven baskets they are pliable to fit comfortably in those spaces.
It was fun watching this video because my husband just retired and we’re planning to buy an RV van and we hadn’t looked at the older models but that one is very nice and honestly one a bit older makes more sense for us !!
I’m looking forward to seeing your adventures in that van! A very exciting new chapter for you . From what I’ve been seeing is going on in Florida it looks like you sold your house at just the right time to get out of that mess !! Congratulations on your beautiful van !
Wish I was able to do this ,Have fun 🎉so happy for you. Be safe ,hugs and luv❤
Nice van, hope you got a good deal and hope it has low miles. I don't think Mercedes uses fake wood. I drive a wagon and all the wood trim is real, just has a very heavy clear finish over it. Happy trails and adventures!!!
I watch a channel called traveling Robert. He has lots of content of the many places he travels around the country and very informative about places to stay with full hookups that he recommends. Can’t wait to see what this next chapter is for you. Above all stay safe out there.
Yes. Traveling Robert is a great channel!
I've enjoyed "wild we roam" they started with Van Life throughout Europe, then Boat Life, now Off the Grid .. also fun to watch!
I just want you to be safe. ❤
May you be blessed in your new home on wheel van!!! Be happy and do whatever is best for you!!! Safe driving!!! Mark will be missed and Habibi !!!❤🙏🙋♀️☕🚐
He will visit Mark I’m sure. Mark has a new job in another state. Wonder why they didn’t rent a house or apartment together? I’m confused….did they break up?
I can’t wait to see your new adventures. However the claustrophobia in me, is worried for your long term happiness. Cheers to new adventures 🥂
I don't think his long term is more than a year or two.
@@judygillespie3242 ohhh got cha
so excited for you!!! I was just wondering Air conditioning? Are you going to be buying/selling anymore?❤
Looks like youre good to go Jeffrey. I don't know much about van life but I did move to a studio apt last year & I love it. Part of what inspired me to do it was watching resellers like you go to these estate sales where theres SO MUCH stuff that obviously their families dont want or theres no one to leave it to; why have all that stuff if youre just going to store it in a box somewhere & not actually enjoy it? I found having a lifetime of stuff from raising a family was weighing me down emotionally, now my bills are low, I have way less to clean & I buy things I like cheaply at thrift stores or whatever, enjoy them for awhile, then let them go. (There is a core group of things I love & will probably keep forever, but its small) And if I change my mind & want more space & more things I can always do that later.
As a fellow coffee lover though may I suggest trying an Aeropress as opposed to a French press. I used a French press for months & was just never happy with the quality or richness of my coffee, but its so much better with my Aeropress. And they dont break.
Happy travels!
Good luck with the small fridge.
They are easy to replace fortunately... or just use a small cooler. Whatever works... as in works! lol
Make ur memories now, ✨️ u'll be glad u did 🙂 😌 ❤😊
100% !!
Sweet!❤ 🚙 great adventures ahead looks like! 🌅
Museum putty dries out especially warm weather. Humidity can affect it. Any water stirs you can refill
Loctite aka fun tak putty has worked well for me
Be safe and have fun. 😊
Very nice. I've been RV camping towing an Airstream for many years. You may want to consider solar panels to give yourself extra electrical power. Boondocking? Cracker Barrel, Walmart, Federal BLM areas, Get yourself a list of dumping stations. Get a "Corps of Engineers" campsite book, "The Next Exit", Federal Parks, State Parks... Private campgrounds are pricey. Use GPS but have a good paper map. For self defense, carry a can of "Wasp Stop" and a baseball bat. Watch the weather reports everyday... you don't want to drive through or into serious weather conditions. Geezzz... I should write a book. I have a place for you to plug in and empty your "gray" water for a night. I'm in Venice Florida. You may want to ask your UA-cam followers if they can accommodate you with an overnighter. Good Luck and Have Fun!
Get a plastic shower bucket to put you shampoo and personal care supplies in. Makes it easy to carry to the campground showers
The best of adventures to you! Ignore the negativity and do your thing. Fill up the change storage for tolls!
Over the door shoe bag is helpful in storing items in shower.
Looks like every time you shower the commode gets one too and you have to dry that off. Bit of an annoying inconvenience.
Hi Jeffrey, you are fearless...good for you, and may your adventure experience be more than you could hope for! Wishes for many blessings in your new little home 🎉❤from Andrea 😊
