I'm a lifelong huge metal fan. But this woman does something to my soul when she sings to me. And, in my humble opinion, this video shows the Adele that I was most attracted to.
She's got projection and a depth/roundness to her voice which a lot of pop singers just don't have. And a vibrato that is just gold. She's got serious skill.
Omg I couldn’t agree more!!! I understand that she was unhappy with her body and her decision to loose weight was absolutely hers to make if that’s what made her feel good but honestly when I look back to her this way I think she was gorgeous now she looks miserable, like constant resting bitch face 😩
Adele is from Tottenham which is in london and has a distinctive London accent.Start with her first 2 songs home town glory which she wrote when she was 16 and chasing pavements which were on her debut album 19. Her albums are named after her age at the time.
@sarablack2547 I agree with you. However, many artists from the U.K have a singing voice which has qualities that sound like southern (bible belt states) and has a raspiness effect. Dusty Springfield sounds like a southern belle singing "Son of a Preacher Man." Lol
@@norskawarrior1919 it used to be a thing were British acts put on a fake American accent for singing, that passed.most lose their accents when they sing some can't like Scottish band the proclaimers.mamchester band oasis and some can't and use it as part of their sound like the Arctic monkeys. I don't hear Adele's accent.
Saw her live in Seattle a few years ago. Great show. She has stunning vocals, combined with evocative writing and sings so easily. She is very down to earth also. She didn't like the way she sounded during the first couple bars of "Hello" so she said, "Damn, I am going to start over." None of us noticed anything wrong but she is quite the perfectionist.
I think this is my favorite Adele song. That line "you held my heart inside of your hand but you played it to the beat." gets me every time. Great breakup song.
I heard the song on the radio long before I saw the video. I swear by all that's holy I thought it was a gospel singer NOT a British lady. Her vocals and emotions in this song are so powerful. I felt the same way you did watching it for the first time. Pure joy.
I'm a huge Adele fan and also a "Rocker chic".. I have a suggestion for you, " Shine Down-- play / react to anything they play , he has a massive range in his voice and you will not be disappointed 🎵🎵🎵🎶💙🎶🎵🎵🎶🎶🎵❤️❤️❤️❤️✅✅✅✅✅✅
Listen to her albums 19 21 and 25 . Adele has an amazing voice she is up there with the greats. She’s a girl from Tottenham best of British. Amy Winehouse is another British artist you should listen to her album Back to Black is amazing as well. Sadly she passed aged 27 yrs old but her music lives on.❤️🇬🇧
Written by Adele and Paul Epworth. The next year 1 day before The Grammys, Whitney Houston died 😢 At the Grammys, Jennifer Hudson sang I Will Always Love You. After that, it was the Adele show! The crying stopped! 🙄 She sang this and won major awards🏆 Suggested video 📹: Adele songs Hello 👋
You had me dying when you said rolling in the deep sounded like the hood 🤣. I love watching your reactions. Adele has such an amazing voice. You need to listen to Easy on Me off her new album.
This is one of this generations instant legends. She is in my playlist big time. And I am more attuned to rock, rap, and metal. But Adele.....dude she is beyond amazing. Soul speaker in my mind.
Your eyes got so big and you couldn't hold in that whoa lol her music reconstructive the listener!! Don't apologize for not listening to her before, there are plenty of songs out that some people, me included, haven't heard because it falls outside your everyday music genre and sometimes if you listen you find some great new music. Love watching your reactions!!
Heads up Rick, besides numerous Grammys, she won an Oscar in 2013 for the theme song “Skyfall” for James Bond film of the same name, opening credits!!! All of her song are here best songs! Hello was her first big hit.
Also she didn't win the Oscar, should have but didn't. Sam Smith won the the Oscar for the next film with "wrighting on the wall". He was the first British person to win one for Bond x
@@kellypallatt8488 I went back and checked and she did win an Oscar for Skyfall. I originally looked it up before before I posted above, so went back and rechecked, and she did win it.
Probably my favorite Adele song is named River Lea. It was not one that was ever released for the radio but it hits me hard. And I think it speaks to what makes Adele so iconic-her vulnerability. She lays herself out there in her music and it’s raw and it’s beautiful.
@@helenjarvis7755 If you haven’t, you should listen to the song. I don’t know if it will resonate with you like it did with me, but I still think it’s quite beautiful.
You should watch "Hello" by Adele, and just for funsies then you must watch Saturday Night Live's "A Thanksgiving Miracle" featuring that song. Because it is so good, and hilarious. Even though we're in the middle of July.
I love your reactions so much. You have such great energy. You are a delight to watch. Adele has an outstanding voice. This song really showcases her range. I love 'Set Fire To The Rain' as well.
Yes, this is Adele when she first started out. She has lost quite a bit of weight now. I always thought she was beautiful though. She has the best laugh and sense of humor.
Love Adele, and, yes, she lost a lot of weight. Believe it or not, she was criticized for it! (I still don't understand that take.) According to her Wikipedia page, it was used in the films "I am Number Four" and "Skiptrace", where Jackie Chan sang it while drunk. It has also been used in several TV shows and commercials. So, it's likely you have heard it somewhere.
Do Hello by Adele. That might be the one you know. Thank you for your reactions. I just found you 3 days ago and I subscribed after the 1st video reaction. 😊😊😊😊
Fantastic song! First time I became aware of Adele. Big fan now! Since this song, she's been married, had a child, divorced, and is now dating someone else. And yes, lost weight.
Boy it seemed like this song was world endingly popular when it came out. It is fantastic and I see why everybody loved it. But it's a little bit comical now because she is one of the best examples of how the entire planet has gone absolutely fudging crazy. This gorgeous young lady with the wonderful voice lost like 50 pounds or more. And she came out looking slim and trim and gorgeous in this really nice revealing dress....... And every female on the planet lost their mind and called her fat phobic for losing weight. They had a real problem with her doing her best to avoid a heart attack someday. And we know why it's because nearly every woman thinks she is fat and roughly 89% of them are correct about it. And they lost their biggest icon. Their biggest example of "it's okay to eat your feelings."
I'm a lifelong huge metal fan. But this woman does something to my soul when she sings to me. And, in my humble opinion, this video shows the Adele that I was most attracted to.
I’m a lifelong metalhead myself- but when Adele sings we all listen. She is captivating to listen to!

I don’t care what genre music you listen to- we all love this song. Her voice is amazing!
A real singer, with NO autotune. She is amazing.
Love your reaction! Definitely give these songs a try: “Rumour Has It,” “Set Fire to the Rain,” “Hello,” and “Easy on Me.”
Someone Like You is a must as well!
yes set fire to the rain is great too
@rhondabaker1064 The whole 25 album is the greatest! Every song on it is wonderful!
It’s her she lost a ton of wieght
why are you mentioning her weight@@lady4recovery
I think the thing that amazes me most is that she is singing like that while sitting comfortably in a chair the whole time!!!! Wowzer!!!

Awesome reaction man to my fave Adele song in the whole world! My first time seeing your channel. You are a cool dude.
When I first heard this driving, I had to pull over. I was blown away & bought it that day.
I think I had the same reaction to Adele as you did. Just an amazing sound and soul coming out of her.
I dont think Adele has ever had a bad song❤🇬🇧🇬🇧
You had me dying when you said rolling in the deep sounded like the hood 🤣. I love watching your reactions. Adele has such an amazing voice. You need to listen to Easy on Me off her new album.
This music is very much soul and inspired by classic black singers, so it really is like the hood.
she was super young when this was released & has lost a lot of weight the past few yrs. She is fabulous. Watch the live version, it's even better.
She had surgery to lose weight.
Why is her weight relevant?
@@looneygardener It's part of her life.
@@looneygardener He mentioned it in the video review.
Stop talking about her weight. It has nothing to do with her talent
The drum is a mimic of her heartbeat when her and the guy broke up

All I Ask is one of my favorite songs that Adele does. She has a pretty deep catalogue, though, so be prepared for a ton of suggestions.
Skyfall is my all time favorite of hers! ☺️

She sings so strongly she actually had to spend a year not speaking cause of it. And yeah, Adele lost a ton of weight and she looks amazing
I love the version of this that Chester Bennington does!

She is huge like superstar status. You should listen to mire if her songs.

You need to do "Hometown" she wrote it at 16. Its perfection
When We Were Young is my favorite Adele song. Also check out I Drink Wine.

May I suggest Set Fire to The Rain , which is mentioned in comments but do the live at the Albert version. Astounding.
