Hoan 真的是降維打擊... 十幾年過去對於力道的掌控與收放的火侯更加純粹，在細節還有音樂性的處理更讓人起雞皮疙瘩；看到其它影片有些評論講到對於 Hoan 對音樂還有節拍的處理覺得 corny 的，實在是覺得這是什麼本末倒置的看法... 那是要下多大量的苦功才能對到 “音樂” 跟 “技術” 像是預先知道並設想好般的在 battle 中施放出來

@@lightsan984 我覺得他以前有一陣子風格還在成形的時候，音樂性比較少，多的是想辦法把拍子卡到爆。經過這幾年他進化成型之後，仍然會把拍子卡爆，但是更自然舒服、他看起來也更開心、也更有跳舞的感覺，
那些黑粉我估計是那時候看他只想著卡拍的階段養起來的哈哈哈，然而人家Hoan已經進化到不知道哪裡了，它們還是只會在鍵盤前面敲敲打打

Hoan definitely won this, he uses his body more proficiently, also he moves and utilize the floor as well. Jsmooth was really good technique wise for arms and body but movement wise I would say Hoan got an upper hand. Anyways, art is subjective so it all comes down to judges preference in this scenario.

A lot of people actually giving detailed feedback are scoring it 2-1 for JSmooth. I wasn’t going to comment until after reading that others saw the same.
I had first round JSmooth, by a lot. Crazy energy and details from Smooth.
Second round was not great for either side, low energy, maybe it was the song but I feel Hoan edged that round. Stamina can fade after going so many rounds to get to the finals, waiting around for your category to start etc.
Third round they both picked up the energy a little more, but I feel JSmooth edged him out again with the details.
Hoan had a better flow overall to his Pop and just getting down, more variation in Popping angles and dynamics. But lacked details and memorable moments or style/conceptual moments. He has details for sure, just nothing that stood out in these rounds.
JSmooth had way more details, crazy control and illusions all danced really well. You could say it may have got repetitive because he uses his arms and waving isolations to do these moments, but each moment was a different variation with different details. His flow and Pop variations was less natural than Hoans though.
So it comes down to preference. What’s more important? If I was judging, which I wasn’t (lol) I would have scored it a close 2-1 win for JSmooth. His first round was the strongest round of any of their rounds. Then the last two rounds were split and close.
Respect to both. Love to see these names in the finals of one of the greatest Popping events in the world.
Congrats to Hoan. Art is subjective and the judges chose him for their reasons.

Agreed…hoan’s rounds a bit corny compared to his high standard. In my view not everything has to be a beatkill…being in the pocket can be better more effective

@@ramaaa1227 What's up for debate is the guys statement. That's all that I'm debating. Mans claiming that jsmooth founded them musicality that is used today which is factually incorrect. He didnt create any musicality and in my opinion his musicality is mediocre. I can literally do what he does in terms of musicality I dont see much going on but it could be different in person so I'll save my full judgement until I see him in person. But man hes not one if the best in the world. He literally just has alot of years popping and training so hes bound to have high level stuff but the way he puts it together is mediocre in my opinion. With that level of body control and understanding I'd at least create a more visually appealing style. For me I dont see clear executions of movement and a big lack of flow when it comes to transitions.it looks like hes rushing half of the time aswell

Thought jsmooth took round 1 and slight edged round 3. Music was ok round 2 and 3. It’s the final then again tested them to different things to the flow and pace of music.
