    Tk you , your the only reviewer that has mentioned the BIG deal with the Zhiyun lights, the FX effects not been controlled by the app, I own 4 of these units, and it is a big problem at the moment, btw I have detailed the problem with Zhiyun about a firmware update, but no response, great lights and I use them a lot, but the app needs updating asap.

      i heard another youtuber mention it. this issue is nothing to me but seems like a weird miss.

    Your comparison match exactly how I shop for cloths. Example buying pants. Can I wear the pants year round? It’s worth $15 more if I could. If the pockets are deep that’s worth $10 etc

    Storybrabble is quickly turning into one of my must-click-on-channels. 😂
    Really love that you kept it real. Very trustworthy review despite being a gifted light.
    They both serve different purposes for different people. I’d probably go with the MC Pro myself (already have 4x MC), but if I was on a budget or needed the light… I’d go Zhiyun.

    Awesome , how can i mount the zhiyun light mc 20 on no metallic surface like a wall

    • @storybabble
      @storybabble  Місяць тому

      The easiest way is to get some gaff, tape and tape a small piece of metal to the wall. Hope that helps.

    The good thing about going with amaran/aputure is the ecosystem you get. In Studio lighting im all in Amaran/Aputure, and i love it. Just missing a easy solution to link it on home assist, zigbee etc. always using the hue smart plugs but only to switch on/off. Im talking about integrated custom buttons, streamdecks etc to use all the lights. at the moment sadly only possible with smart plugs as far i know. Hey but one question about the ZHIYUN Fiveray M20C. do you know if its possible to control it the way i just said with smart plugs? or will it stay on in battery mode?

    • @storybabble
      @storybabble  3 місяці тому +1

      I agree with you about the ecosystem. As for the battery controls, I don't know. I gave the light away. So sorry, but thanks for asking.

      @@storybabble no it cant be used with smart plugs. If someone has the same question. It will stay on in battery

    Cool video, thanks! I see SmallRigPixM160 is 160W instead of 5W that AputureMCPro is, and costs half the money though. Am i missing something ?

      Thanks for the encouragement. I’ll have to check out the 160 W. Thanks for the tip.

    can this run in full power even while charging with a powerbank? cos the zhiyun m40 only runs at half power when its plugged to a powerbank

    • @storybabble
      @storybabble  10 місяців тому

      Good question. I don’t have a power bank, but it does work full power plugged in with a simple 5 volt charger. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with a powerful powerbank.

    • @tribalmarkfilms
      @tribalmarkfilms 9 місяців тому

      Most lights while on power bank only end up giving 80% brightness output, I own the Mc pro and it gives 100% when using a baseus 20mah 15w power bank

    • @PioSoesetio308
      @PioSoesetio308 9 місяців тому

      Yes, it can run full power if the power bank you use can supply more than 20w, otherwise, it will limit the maximum brightness accordingly. The light can also display the wattage of the charger used.

      @@tribalmarkfilms That makes sense, but it still depends on the cable and powerbank you used.

    thank you for the review... the deal breaker for me is the fact that zyhuin does not have remote control.

    The Aputure has a longer battery and it’s much easier to do a hot swap

      I wonder if you matched brightness and brought the m20c down to aperture’s output if the battery life would be comparable. 🤷‍♂️
